The Tea Party was a device to keep the working class Republicans in the party after the Bush Depression...
You can tell it was contrived by the elites since the major point was to "stop government spending" which is essential to keep the working classes afloat while the money elites untangle their bubbles and financial collapses...during a depression.
In that regard the Tea Party was a huge success...
It kept the Bubba Republicans in the South and in rural fly over country...voting against their best interests for yet another election cycle...
Of course nothing will be accomplished by the real Republicans...except more tax cuts perhaps...and some corporate breaks and Wall Street welfare...
But the gutting of social safety net programs like SSI Disability, Food Stamps and farm subsidies that the Tea Party types rely on will not be done either...
Tea Party people have a hard time thinking straight about their best interests...it is amazing how easily the Wall Street elites can manipulate these people.
