Our problem is that China and India are the most "Progressive" economies in the world by Glenn Beck standards...and they are WINNING... They have serious industrial policies and economies managed for growth.
The 20 years leading up to this Depression ... where dominated by RayGun style policies...even in the Clinton years...Conservative Deregulation was the norm...and serial asset bubbles were encouraged
Essentially...International Capital was allowed to seek out the VERY CHEAPEST LABOR it could find...and India and China were the obvious winners in that race to the bottom.
That lasted until the collapse in 2008... The reason the nation is broke is because it was looted by International Capital and US multinationals...with the help of the FED which had gone into a "Bubbles Forever" economic mode...(perhaps to support 401ks...but more likely just to keep Asset Prices boiling)...
Now that has ended...
I would also note...that the very idea that "Progressives" have caused the looting is nonsense historically... Without the more intelligent policy makers and thinkers ... we would still have slavery and child labor...
Progress is not a bad thing... Greed and Looting and wild "free" markets are...
Further, when hate and fear are used...during the end game... to support and continue the Greed and Looting that is really dangerous to the society as a whole...
