What the Tea Party seems to have become is a the Working Class...less educated...branch of the traditional Republican Party...
Traditional Republicans are the party of Wall Street and International Capital...The Rich.
Yet...the entire Blue Collar unemployed factory worker class in the middle west is suddenly going Republican...!
What do unemployed factory workers have in common with the corporate elites of finance and International Multinational corporations...?
Answer : Nothing...!
Hence the need for the Tea Party...
The Republican elites have given the under educated "Bubba Republicans" a list of "wedge issues" to keep them from voting for the Demorcrats...and Progressives (who are supportive of the working class agenda)....
Guns, Gays, Abortion, Religion, Thinly vailed racism, zenophobia, etc...pick your favorite.....
But what do the corporate money elites on Wall Street have in common with a bunch of unemployed factory workers and angry white guys in the middle west...? NOTHING!
Hence the need for a bifurcated Republican Party...and TWO responses to the State of the Union...!
You can get the elite Republican view on Tout TV and in the Wall Street Journal...TAX CUTS FOR THE RICH...ETC...
And THEN you get the uneducated Bubba point of view on Fox...
This seems like a risky gamble by the "real" Republicans on Wall Street...but so far its worked like a charm...!
