I'm one of the few Progressives who is against raising the debt ceiling...
I think we need to have the cuts that the Tea Party is demanding...
Most of these cuts will devastate the Zombie Economy in the US...and impact the working classes and people in "Red States" which heavily depend in Federal money to survive... Many of Red States don't even have a state income tax and rely on Washington's military spending.
These cuts will push us into a second Great Depression...
But....Tea Partiers need to see that when you take the "sugar coating" of hate speech and wedge issues...off their policies?
All you have is more Looting by Wall Street and International Capital...which owns whats left of America...
Even as these Elites are leaving for Asia daily...
American Cities and States are now being urged to file bankruptcy ... and lay off tens of thousands of "evil" government workers... (Always good for the local economy right?)
This will add another layer of "new poor" to growing the economic depression...
But...Politics has consequences...as the Tea Party will find out very soon... After the sugar coating wears off...
