The Saudis INVADED Bahrain... ! And the Iranians are mad about it...but you probably didn't hear than on the news yesterday...!
A Saudi~Iran War would be more dangerous than the Japan situation...
I think Japan is hogging the news now...because we only seem to "do" one news story at a time these daze...in the media.
My hunch is that this disaster in Japan will be cleaned up fairly quickly... Most disasters are localized events...which look worse in a photo or a news video...because all photos are essentially lies... They don't give you the 360 degree view... Reporters find the worst thing in the area and stand in front of it for their broadcast...
Very likely about 95% of Japan has had no real disruption in essential services...
But if Saudis and Iranians get into a war...that will be big... because it could go regional quickly and send oil to $200 overnight!
