Republicans don't have a single candidate that can match Obama... Who...? The Newt? Rick Santorum...? Palin, Bachman...?
Lots of screamers...ranting on Fox with Half Truths and Big Lies...plenty of screwball notions...but nothing that any educated person can take seriously...
They have gone from the "Party of No" against ALL Progressive ideas...
To the "Party of Perpetual Gloom"...all negativity all the time...but no real ideas that are viable! Howling at the moon makes good televsion...but not good policy.
Cutting Social Security and throwing Grandma out of the hospital...only sounds good as a sound bite on "cutting entitlements"...
My hunch is that the electorate is taking "the cure" for Republicans right now...
By 2012...they will have had enough of the voodoo and the ranting...
That is why Huckabee and Palin won't run...they will wisely keep their million dollar jobs at Fox...and not join the Freak Show in Iowa... Why would anyone want to be on the same stage with perpetual losers like The Newt and Rick Santorum....
