OK....Both parties are controlled by money... So the ordinary person simply can not expect to compete in the American system...
The role of money is to dupe the public into thinking that this is normal....and to provide the public with enough wedge issues to confuse and get them to vote against their best interests....
The Republicans as the direct party of the elite have the harder job...but the American people are very stupid and very prone to believe conspiracy theories and big lies....especially now with Fox News pushing the elite agenda 24/7... So the Republican are doing well...
The Democrats are really the party of the working classes... But Democrats are also bought off by the elites....who tell the Democrats to "feel the pain" of the public..but don't really do anything that would upset the current system...
This was Obama's approach to health care reform... He knew the system was broke beyond repair...but he did not or could not fix it with single payer...like everyone else has...because of the Insurance Lobby...
So if you vote Republican...for Racial, Regional or Religious reasons..you simply buy one of their many wedge issues that are provided to the less uninformed...
If you vote Democratic...as the more intelligent choice...you are stuck with the influence from back room money from the Goldman Sachs types... But at least you will get someone who will... "feel your pain"...like Clinton and Obama...but not really do anything about it...
In the current depression...the Fox Types and the Republicans have the hardest job...because their agenda is totally out of whack with reality...so huge distractions, abstractions, red herrings and wedge issues are very important...
The Ryan Budget could focus the minds of people...as the depression deepens as it will...
So hope for a big debt default forced by the Tea Party...it will hurt the money elites most...and perhaps allow the system to be rebuilt on a different model...
