The Republican Balanced Budget Amendment is interesting in that it will get abolutely NO support from real economists...real financiers...or anyone who has ever been awake during a college class in economics or history...!!
Its strictly a Rant for the Stupid...which is also called their "base" by Republicans
The notion that an economy the size of the US...with global reach...would be under the rules that are usually provided for local school boards is nuts...
Effectively the Republicans want to turn America into Greece or some other nation that has compromised its sovereign rights...and can no longer act without restrictions...
REPUBLICANS HAVE DONE THE MOST DAMAGE TO THE ECONOMY OVER TIME...
Now oddly they want the rest of us to "protect" ourselves from times when they are in power... The RayGun/Bush years were disasters for the deficits...Democrats are always called in to clean up their messes... Anyone with half a brain can see that Republicans are clowns and buffoons...they always have been.
But, there is a much easier way to balance the budget..and keep the economy going...
