There is no doubt that the few sizable employers who can't go to Asia...want the cheapest labor possible...
And that will be found in the "Right to Work" states...and those that have the lowest taxes...and less cost for amenities...
America is in a race to the bottom...between the South and the North...and between the cheap labor of Asia...and the cheapest possible in the US...
As union jobs disappear in the north...the southern employers will be under less pressure to "keep up" with the north...so the current $20 per hour non union auto worker...will drift down to $12 per hour...then in a few years to $8 per hour...
As long as union workers are around the right to work states will have to "match" the union wages...
But that could be ending...
AMERICANS ARE IN A RACE TO THE BOTTOM...
But they don't have to like it... Working Class Poverty is not what made America in the 20th Century.
Additionally once the Federal Government cuts its tax spending subsidy in the south...and transfers that money to the Wall Street multinationals for more Asian Expansion?
Those "low tax" southern states will be faced with even more cuts to their already bare bones budgets...
So why have well lit "Rest Areas" with running water and toilets on the Interstate Highways...?
Why not just have turn offs with unlighted pit toilets...like you see in Texas and Arizona!!
NOW THAT'S THE TICKET...!!
IF MORE POVERTY IS THE ANSWER...REPUBLICANS ARE THE SOLUTION...!
