When a nation is in total collapse...the elites will "help the poor"...they simply have no choice... Like Germany in the 1930's...
What Corporatism and Fascism does is allow the Capitalist corporate elites to CONTROL THE PROCESS...
What the corporate elite fear most is losing control to "the people"...or "populists" who may confiscate their property...
America will go fascist before it will go socialist...
Curiously that means that the coming welfare state will be started by Republicans and their corporate core backers...to pacify the working class...!
Even Fox News which appeals to the poor and less educated voter...is starting to back track on backing the tax cuts for the rich agenda...
They are "letting" Juan Williams..."tell us" about cutting off Granny...
The elites realize that THEY will have to take care of Granny...at least in theory...sooner or later...
