Here are the facts....
As long as American corporations are allowed to produce in China and sell in America...
JOBS WILL NOT COME BACK... ITS JUST THAT SIMPLE...
The notion of "stimulating" demand...ONLY STIMULATES DEMAND FOR CHINESE MADE GOODS...!
ITS JUST THAT SIMPLE...
So...where Obama is wrong is in not recognizing that this is not merely a cyclical problem...or a demand problem...or a jobs problem...
ITS A STRUCTURAL PROBLEM....
OBAMA AND OTHERS ARE SO CONVINCED THAT "FREE TRADE" IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO...THAT NO OTHER IDEAS ARE CONSIDERED...
They can stimulate forever...it wont do any good...!
Similarly...the Fox Republicans only want TAX CUTS....
TAX CUTS FOR CORPORATIONS THAT ARE AWASH AND BLOATED WITH CASH...WHICH THEY WILL NOT SPEND...BECAUSE THERE IS NO DEMAND IN AMERICA...BECAUSE THERE ARE NO GOOD JOBS IN AMERICA...
The Corporations moved all the good jobs to China...
So...I agree that Obama is barking up the wrong tree...
But I also disagree that this problem is solvable with Fox Republican TAX CUTS...
Tax Cuts will only give the bloated corporations more money to SIT ON....while they wait for DEMAND to pick up in America...SO THEY CAN BUILD MORE FACTORIES IN CHINA...!!
IS THIS SO HARD TO SEE... Apparently the Washington establishment is missing it...!!!
