The future President who saves America...will be a protectionist...who realizes that all economies are local...and that there is far too much cheap labor in the world to trust capital to "do the right thing"...
America needs to have the same kind of Tariffs...that China uses to force production to move there...for the cheap labor...
Obama was merely the President who inherited the disaster of RayGunOmics...which was in its Fatal End Game under the Bush Family...after the final bubble exploded.
I am hoping for a Republican President in 2012...only because Republicans will give Americans what they deserve...not what they need...
