Obama had to be "tough on" Afghanistan because as a liberal and a black person...he would be vulnerable to attack on the right about being soft on defense...
Sadly Obama is continuing a senseless war that is undefined...and therefore unwinnable...
But the Pentagon wants a war to keep them busy...and Republicans will always support ONE OBAMA POLICY....
AND THAT IS MORE SENSELESS WAR....AND MORE WAR SPENDING "FOR THE TROOPS"...AND THE WAR INDUSTRY IN AMERICA.
So sad...but so true... Obama's war policy has been totally political...not strategic... There is nothing in Afghanistan now that should be of interest to the American taxpayer...
