America is much better off with Obama in the White House...the problem is that the elites are controlling him... And the real Progressives can't break through...
That said...getting a start on Universal Health Care was a huge gain...
Getting a start on bringing back the Glass-Stegal restrictions on banks was huge...
Internationally...Obama had to "act tough" to get around the Pentagon War Spending hawks...
But the War in Afghanistan for example was total nonsense...
These shoeless poor people in their mud huts in the Hindu Kush are no threat to America and they never were...
The notion that Osama "passed through there" .... once.... is a pitiful reason to be kicking their doors down and killing them with drones...FOR TEN YEARS...!
The Pashtoons (also called "The Taliban") are Pakistan's problem...most Americans know nothing about this region... But if NATO would just leave...the Pakis would handle their Pashtoon problems eventually...
The real existential threat to America is Republican Insanity...
Republican are not even talking sense now... To the point where I don't think they want to run the government in Washington...
If there is a Republican in the White House...America could be in for a big fall ...economically at home ~ and on the world stage...
OBAMA IS THE ONLY THING WE HAVE GOING FOR US... DON'T MESS IT UP...

We are...and were...only 3 Senators away from a Active Progressive agenda...until the Fox Teabaggers took the House temporarily... Obama needs a philibuster proof Senate in 2012... Then perhaps we can handle the Goldman Sachs Mafia in the White House...
