I have nothing against "cheap stuff"....even from "slave wages"....I don't care about the Chinese People
Face it we want $200 TVs...not $600 TVs...
HERE'S THE PROBLEM...
How do we keep the CHEAP STUFF FROM ASIA....
AND STILL HAVE A SUSTAINABLE ECONOMY IN THE US...
Yes Yes...we are all going to write best selling novels...and go in our garage and invent the next Apple Computer... Blah Blah Blah... More education so you can get a job as a barista at Starbucks... Blah...!
For me...its not about cheap stuff...its about how to maintain a middle class that can afford to buy things...ON A LONG TERM BASIS...
THE WALL STREET VIEW... Is Cheap Stuff is good...even if it means that the economy collapses...and the FED has to print money to save it...
We need a REAL GENIUS to figure that one out...not a NEWT...
