These days a lot of people aren't into heirlooms and history... There is a whole new attitude about things now...post Internet...
The current generation knows no history...and just doesn't care... We might call this the "Post Classical Era"... Nothing pre-1990 interests anyone...
We have had a Cultural Revolution...not unlike what happen in 1968...
Eras end with hard breaks...1789, 1848, 1914, 1932, 1968...and you can never go back.
The exact year of this break is still unclear...2008 is a good candidate if the Depression doesn't end...
Perhaps the "break year" hasn't happen yet ~ but its coming...
Nothing matters that happen before the IPO of Pets.com...!
