As REAL jobs continue to disappear...people will become "self employed" out of desperation...
You see this all over the "3d world" economies... People are on the streets hustling for a little money to get by...
I would not call this sustainable Capitalism...
But rather a dismal kind of subsistence micro-capitalism that comes from desperation and horrid poverty!...
And you see it ALL OVER THE WORLD...and more and more economies are being forced into it...
Remember the "living wage job" was NEVER THE NORM...IT WAS THE EXCEPTION TO THE RULE... Basically it was America in the period from the 50's to 80's of the last century.
In most places in the world today...a living wage job is almost extinct... The public sector in the US is really the last vestige of "living wage and benefits" jobs...and even those are on the skids...
At some point the issue will be...DOES CHEAP LABOR DOMINATE THE WORLD...?
Capital loves free trade and cheap and ever cheaper labor...
THE QUESTION IS ...IS THIS SUSTAINABLE...
We won't know until the FED is forced to quit printing money...
And that day is not too far away... These are the final daze of "trickle down" and bailouts for Wall Street...it won't last the year likely...
This is the Golden Age of the Wall Street Capitalist Elites...because cheap labor rules...
THIS IS ROMNEYWORLD...WELCOME TEABAGGERS...!
But it is a Dark Age for workers and labor... And that will be the big test of our times... That is the issue that Obama and the Progressives are struggling with... Basically:
