Foreigners are raised in an environment of "micro-captialism"... In most places in the world...there are no "jobs"...as such... People mostly hustle on the streets...they spread a blanket on the sidewalk...and sell whatever they can get...
This works well in most foreign cities and towns...because populations are highly concentrated...and foot traffic abounds... Unlike in America where highways and interstates disperse the population...
In short...there is no "Street scene" in America...like you see all over the 3d world and Asian nations...
So when these foreign people come to America..."running a store" is second nature to them... THEY NEVER HAD "GOOD JOBS WITH BENEFITS..."
AND SOON AMERICANS WON'T EITHER... Americans are now learning to "make money" on the ELECTRONIC STREET... The Bay...AZ...Craig's List...etc...
ITS THE NEXT PHASE OF THE DEMISE OF GOOD JOBS IN AMERICA..
BECAUSE NOWADAZE CHEAP ASIAN LABOR MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND
