Facebook is the next AltaVista....
Fads can last a while...maybe 5 years...but not forever...
Facebook is a server farm...not a unique killer app...they don't sell things...
And they have the wrong demographic...mainly the young and the hip...with a few guys looking for work...and moms swapping baby pics...and corporations wanting to sell things to these people...
All that gets old after a while...you want to move on to the "Next Big Thing"...
Facebook is like a middle school lunch room...all chat and posing...no money involved...
Facebook started out as "exclusive" for Harvard and Stanford Students...
Now any Dweeb in Fly Over Country can rant there... And pics of you Ape-ing with a beer bottle just doesn't seem like the Second Coming of Microsoft...
Frankly an annotated zip code directory would be more useful to corporations than the Facebook data base...
Tumblr is the next Facebook...
