The Pakis have more to say about Afghanistan than Obama...
The whole Taliban issue is all about the Pashtoons of southern Pakistan...whose ancient homeland was divided between Afghanistan and Pakistan...by an ARBITRARY LINE draw by the British after they lost their Afghan Wars in the 1800s....their "notion" was that The Czar wanted to horn in on the Brits Indian Empire...! which was far fetched...but it set the stage for the current war...
The Pashtoons, who we call "Taliban," have been in the south part of Afghanistan for 2000 years...they are a very ancient people...they made it for 2000 years without American "help"...I suspect they will get on just fine after 2014...
Most of them are considered to be "Afghan Hillbillies"...not too smart...but not really a danger to the US... That's why Osama used them for his base camp... Most Pashtoons have never been more than 50 miles from their village...SO THEY AINT' COMIN HERE ANYTIME SOON...
Now...Saudi PhDs living in Germany...or Yemeni Radicals...that's a whole new game...!!
The Pashtoons of south Afghanistan...forget about them...they'll be fighting Uzbeks for the next 1000 years...
We don't need to mess with it... Let the Pakis handle it...its their mess, not ours...
