Western religion tends to believe that humans are insane brutes and sinners who would rape, pillage and steal...BUT FOR an angry God...who will throw them in Hell to burn for eternity...for their sins which they are prone to because of Original Sin... Yikes...!
The entire Western view is like some kind of slasher movie...or steam punk gothic film noir blood bath...of competition, hate and lust... where humans are essentially evil...and need to be "saved"...
Eastern religions are more informed by nature and the natural balance of things...
People are inherently good in the eastern view...and they only have to continue on the path of "oneness" with the natural world to be happy...
No "man as wild beast"...No angry God...No Satanic Forces...
Just a peaceful worldview where people simply need to follow the natural order of things...and that order is inherently good...
