The "jobs number" is nearly irrelevant these days... It always shows that same story.
Job growth everywhere in the economy...equally spread out between all sectors...but concentrated in those areas that are prone to hiring "illegals."
Labor force participation is low and should fall again.
People are hunkering down...as the Walmart gloom and doom shows. Anyone dependant on a job will have to settle for low wages. And those selling to the American Public will have to deal with a low wage consumer for some time to come.
There are some jobs in technical fields...like engineering and IT...and may employers are delighted to find a native born American to fill them...so that the entire staff isn't from India!
Still the labor number has become the "big lie" that is causing a disconnect between a gloomy public, and the joy and "good news" among our Wall Street rich and the Washington elites.
