Greenspan has been accused of everything from A to Z.
But, just to make sure, I'll call him a ZOO KEEPER.
Now, I really hate zoos. Because the animal "prisoners" always seem
more bored than I am! And, like I always say, if you've seen one
meercat, you've seen 'em all. I think attendance at zoos should be
limited to children under five, and people will degrees in zoology.
Of course, with some adult supervision allowed.
Now, in Greenspan's Zoo the "animals" are being fed to the point of
morbid obesity on his ONE PERCENT SOLUTION ANIMAL FEED!
INDEED, THERE ARE A LARGE NUMBER OF "SPECIMENS" IN GREENSPAN'S ZOO
THAT WOULD BE EXTINCT, IF THEY WERE LEFT OUT INTO THE "WILDS" OF
GLOBAL CAPITALISM!
In short, Greenspan has created an "artificial environment" where
these animal can subsist, and even breed!
And we will never knew which are survivors and which are on the road
to a well deserved extinction, UNTIL THE ULTRA-LOW RATES GO AWAY!
Would some deals not get done if rates were 2% instead of 1%?
Probably.
And, if mom and pop could get a "decent" 4 or 5 percent at the bank
would they stay in stocks? Probably Not!
THE POINT IS THAT GREENSPAN'S ZOO HAS CREATED AN ARTIFICIAL ECONOMY!
ONE THAT CAN NOT, AND WILL NOT, BE ABLE TO SURVIVE ON IT'S
OWN.....THAT'S REALLY WHAT "JAPAN DISEASE" IS ALL ABOUT.
Of course there is the dollar NOT to worry about! Right?
And, oil and gold NOT to worry about.
And, indeed, the world's sole surviving COMMUNISTS are big holders of
US Treasury Bonds! Marx would be pleased I'm sure. But NOT to worry.
GREENSPAN WILL KEEP US SAFE IN OUR LITTLE "ECONOMIC ZOO" FOR A
CONSIDERABLE PERIOD; BEING THE PATIENT MAN THAT HE IS.
LET'S HOPE THAT EVERYONE ELSE CAN AFFORD TO BE THAT PATIENT!
