The WMD flap is a little amazing.
Because almost everyone outside the Beltway knew that Dubya & Co
were "puffing" the evidence on Iraq right from the get-go.
But, now we are all saying: I'M SHOCKED! SHOCKED! I TELL YOU!
When the WMD all turned out to be fake.
Consider:
Remember Scott Ritter? Yeah him, the "traitor," who was the "expert"
before David Kay got put on the payroll!
Ritter said there was NO WMDs long before Dubya's war mania got going.
And, remember Colin's pictures during the UN speech?
Just why weren't those WMD sites bombed years ago! Hmmm....? IF
they were real sites; which it turns out they were not!
Remember Trixy Blixy?
That guy who could talk out of both sides of his mouth at once. HE
FOUND NOTHING! And, not for want of looking.
IN SHORT, GENTLE READER, WE ALL KNEW THAT THERE WAS LITTLE OR NOTHING
IN THE WAY OF WMD IN IRAQ! SO, LETS QUIT THE NONSENSE ABOUT BEING
SHOCKED! OK?
WHY?
WELL, WE ALL KNEW THAT DUBYA WAS GOING INTO IRAQ--ONE WAY OR ANOTHER.
BECAUSE DUBYA'S SIMPLE MINDED "AGENDA" ALWAYS WAS TO "UNDO" POPPY BUSH'S SUPPOSED "MISTAKES."
REMEMBER?
1. POPPY RAISED TAXES, AFTER SAYING "READ MY LIPS NO NEW TAXES."
2. POPPY DIDN'T "FINISH OFF" SADDAM, DURING THE FIRST GULF WAR.
AND, POPPY SUPPOSEDLY LOST THE ELECTION BECAUSE OF THESE "MISTAKES."
CURIOUSLY, NOW IT IS VERY LIKELY THAT DUBYA IS GOING TO LOSE HIS
ELECTION BID BECAUSE;
1. DUBYA CUT TAXES TOO MUCH.
2. DUBYA "FINISHED OFF" SADDAM WITH NO IDEA OF WHAT COMES NEXT!
Pretty amazing really.
BUT, IN TRUTH, BOTH DUBYA AND POPPY HAD A LITTLE TROUBLE WITH
THE "VISION THING."
AND, BOTH PURSUED POLICIES THAT GAVE US THAT "RECESSION THING."
Now isn't that really what happened? Hmmm.....?
