I have always been amazed that Republican Lies and Democratic Facts
have "equal footing" in the minds of some less intelligent voters.
These "Bubba Voters" occasionally can't distinguish between truth and
falsehood, because many believe everything they see or hear on TV or
radio.
These are the people who are often right for the wrong reason, or
wrong for the right reason. You probably know the type I'm referring
too?
IN SHORT, BUBBA IS EASY TO CONFUSE. SO HE IS PARTICULALY
VULNERABLE TO THE COMING: REPUBLICAN "BIG LIE" CAMPAIGN.
Consider:
Dubya has run ads claiming that Kerry will raise taxes by 800 Billion
on everyone. Even though there is not one shred of truth to that
claim!
In truth, Kerry has promised to use the old Clinton Era devise of
tackling the deficits by raising taxes on the higher income taxpayers
who benefit most from the current system.
Dubya claims that Kerry has voted "against body armour for soldiers"
and against "health care for veterans." Again totally absurd.
SEE THE PATTERN?
THE REPUBLICAN STRATEGY FOR DEFENDING THE INDEFENSIBLE SEEMS TO BE TO
RESORT TO THE "BIG LIE" EARLY AND OFTEN.
But will this work?
IF YOU REPEAT FALSEHOODS OVER AND OVER, EVENTUALLY EVEN THE DULLEST
VOTERS, THE ONES DUBYA IS COUNTING ON IN THIS ELECTION, WILL "CATCH
ON."
Somehow or another Dubya is hoping to get all the way to November
without mentioning the economy, the deficits or the jobs debacle!
Well, GOOD LUCK!
DUBYA & CO SEEM TO BE PLANNING AN EIGHT MONTH LONG CAMPAIGN OF "TOP-
GUN SPEECHES;"
With flag waving and cheering by the evangelical "brown shirts" right
to the bitter end.
But November is still a long, long way off in economic and geo-
political time.
DUBYA MAY OF "WON" THE WAR, BUT HE WILL ALMOST SURELY HAVE LOST THE
PEACE BY NOVEMBER.
The tipping point there will likely be JUNE 30, 2004. The deadline
for "handing over" Iraq to the Iraqis.
If some rag-tag govenment can be set up in Baghdad, and if American
troops retreat into fortified desert positions (near the oil fields)
in Iraq, perhaps things can hold until after November.
But, if all Hell breaks loose in July?
Dubya and the Neocons will be totally discredited in the ensuing
Chaos.
AND, NOW COME NEWS REPORTS THAT OSAMA HAS "SUIT-CASE NUKES!!!"
SO, WHILE DUBYA WAS CHASING AFTER SADDAM'S "PHANTOM NUKES" IN THE
IRAQ QUAGMIRE;
OSAMA WAS ON THE BLACK MARKET BUYING REAL NUKES!
TRY TO CONSTRUCT A "BIG LIE" FOR THAT ONE!
