Right on Cue! Talk about Political Theater!
The "Pakistani Connection" has provided terror info that was a "10"
on a 1 to 10 scale--according to Mr. Ridge.
So much for the Kerry Convention Bounce?
Well, we'll see, I suppose.
INSTILLING A LITTLE HYSTERIA BETWEEN THE DEMOCRATIC CONVENTION AND
THE REPUBLICAN ONE IS JUST "GOOD POLITICS."
Consider:
First, you divert attention away from the Kerry-Edwards cross country
campaign at a key "bounce moment."
Second, you get the fearmongering out of the way, a little bit BEFORE
the Republican Convention; which no Real Republican wants to
be "distracted" by bad news, or warnings.
Third, since the Democratic Convention came off with not even a hint
of trouble; THAT PROVES that Osama wants Kerry to win!
ANY QUESTIONS?
Well, there are a few:
FOR ONE, WHAT WILL BE THE REAL COST TO AMERICANS OF RE-ELECTING DUBYA
& CHUMS FOR A SECOND TERM?
I MEAN, YOU MUST ADMIT, THAT DUBYA IS VERY LIKELY THE MOST UNPOPULAR
MAN IN THE WORLD! (Or, where are the anti-Osama Rallies?)
Just look at the Dubya induced anti-Americanism in, oh say, Europe!
Asia! Africa! And, lest we forget, All of Araby!
By contrast, we are told, that Osama is highly popular in Arab and
Muslim nations, and increasingly in Africa and Asia.
And, alas, lest we forget even in Europe! Damn those Frenchies!
INDEED, THE ONLY PLACE IN THE WORLD WHERE DUBYA IS "POPULAR" IS IN
AMERICA'S VAST AND TEAMING "BUBBALAND!"
Just the facts, folks. Just the facts. Anyway:
Here's my best hunch on what will happen:
Osama knows that he is winning the public relations war, so he will
NOT attack the US before the elections. He simply doesn't want to
give Dubya another sympathy vote globally.
After the election in the US, Osama may or may not attack inside the
US, based on what is happening in other parts of the world.
If Dubya wins, Osama may just keep yanking his chain and doing more
of the same in Araby.
If Kerry wins, Osama has a problem. First, the ENTIRE GLOBAL
COMMUNITY will breath a sight of relief that Dubya and Chums are sent
packing. Because Kerry would be seen as a FREST START for American
Foregin Relations; and that would be VERY BAD for Osama. VERY BAD
INDEED!
Frankly, I think that Osama might try to "re-attack" the US;
IF KERRY WINS JUST TO KEEP EVEN IN THE GLOBAL WAR FOR THE HEARTS AND
MINDS OF MUSLIMS!
THE LAST THING THAT OSAMA WANTS IS A "NEW FACE" OF REASON AND GLOBAL
COOPERATION IN THE WHITE HOUSE! THE LAST THING INDEED! Kerry-
Edwards is really Osama's worst nightmare if you really think about
it.
Interestingly, the BIG NEWS this weekend was the coordinated attacks
on Chirstian Churches in Iraq! THIS COULD BE THE START OF ETHNIC
CLEANSING IN ARAB NATIONS! IN OTHER WORDS, KOSOVO REDUX!
SADDAM WAS AN EVIL DICTATOR, WHO KEPT HIS EXTREMIST MUSLIMS IN CHECK,
OR IN JAIL.
IN TRUTH, IRAQ WAS A FAIRLY QUIET MULTI-ETHNIC SOCIETY UNDER SADDAM.
SADDAM IS NOW GONE. SO, LET THE ETHNIC CLEANSING BEGIN!
That will, in truth, be the NEXT BIG THING for the Islamists in Iraq
and elsewhere.
BUT ALAS, THIS POLICY CHANGE WAS ALMOST TOTALLY FORGOTTEN IN THE
HUBBUB ABOUT THE DUBYA'S "NEW TERROR THREAT."
Dubya has to seriously consider if he may not be hurting his
credibility, if any, by these politically "targeted" terror warnings, usually coming right after a Big Kerry Event. I mean it gets "old" and even rather predictable after a while.
WHAT WILL BE THE COST TO AMERICANS, AND TO THE WORLD, IF WE MUST KEEP
PLAYING GAMES WITH THE REPUBLICAN "FEAR FACTORY" FOR FOUR MORE YEARS?
Postscript: One of the problems with all of these so-called "plots"
is that nothing of substance, nothing "REAL," has even been found.
To be sure, there is "chatter," and some e-mails, also
supposed "papers."
But know one has been "caught" inside of the US with even a "gun."
Not to mention smoking gun.
There have been some arrests of persons in the US, who may be
slightly mentally retarded, or at least rather stupid.
And, there are Muslim "Supporters of Islamist Causes" inside the US,
I would assume. And, they certainly have to mind their "p's"
and "q's" these days.
BUT SO FAR, NOTHING TO SHOW FOR SURE THAT "OSAMA HAS LEFT THE CAVE."
PERHAPS, DUBYA, ET AL, SHOULD CONSIDER ARRESTING A REAL "BAD GUY"
BEFORE THE ELECTION?
You know, the so-called "Osama Surprise?"
Well, stranger things have, and will, be happening.

CAN WE REALLY AFFORD FOUR MORE LONG YEARS OF THIS?
