The GREAT DEBATE looms.
But can Kerry knock Dubya off message and get him "rambling?" That
is the key.
Dubya will be on message, with a pocket full of slogans, and that's
it!
Dubya has a record that quite simply can not be defended. He simply
must stick to the "sound bite" approach of his media ad campaign so far.
ANY DIVERSION NOW COULD BE A DISASTER!
DUBYA COULD EASILY BLOW THE ELECTION WITH ONE SENTENCE!
Kerry's job is to give him the opportunity to do so.
Dubya will say: If Kerry were president Saddam would still be in
power! And he will say it over and over again.
So, it behooves the Kerry Kamp to have some KNOCKOUT PUNCH RESPONSE
to that claim.
And, it has to be GOOD! VERY GOOD! Not merely a punt. Or a
sidestep.
What should it be: Well, stay tuned.....I've got a few "goodies" to
unload later this week!
WE KNOW DUBYA'S SLOGANS. AND WE KNOW HE WILL REPEAT THEM OVER AND
OVER.
IS THERE SOME TRICK THAT KERRY CAN USE TO GET DUBYA OFF MESSAGE? TO
GET HIM RAMBLING?
N.B. IF YOUR ADVERSARY STARTS TO RAMBLE? DON'T INTERUPT HIM! LET
HIM GO....ON AND ON AND ON.
Dubya tends to ramble on,,,until he sort of peters out. Let him.
Kerry should also be very caustic about Dubya's reasoning and
judgment and some way should be devised to question his very
intelligence and competence for the job.
KERRY SHOULD SAY TO BUSH'S FACE: YOU ARE THE MOST INCOMPETENT MAN TO
EVER HOLD THE OFFICE OF PRESIDENT.
THEN TURN TO THE AUDIENCE AND SAY;
IF YOU THINK THIS MAN IS COMPETENT? VOTE FOR HIM. IF YOU THINK HE
IS INCOMPETENT, THEN VOTE FOR ME.
Brash? Too simple? To be sure! But necessary this election cycle.
MR KERRY: SEPERATE BUSH FROM HIS SLOGANS AND YOU WILL WIN THE
PRESIDENCY.....
