Musharraf's IRON CURTAIN SPEECH at the UN yesterday was pretty much
"BLACKED OUT" in the US, by the Israeli Lobby, WHO BOYCOTTED THE
SPEECH.
Musharraf was adamant in his call for a settlement of the Palestinian
statehood issues, and stopping the West Bank aspirations of Sharon and his right-wing Likud.
Musharraf is often shown in the US, as Dubya's Stooge, who will kiss
the ring on Middle East policy, just to stay in power. Well maybe, but I don't think so.
Yet, Dubya has placed "Muchie" Musharraf in a Hobson's Choice.
Clearly, as a Muslim nation, Pakistan can not support Sharon's
backdoor annexation of the West Bank, and the resulting expulsion of
the Palestinians, which is really the "secret policy" of Israel and
the US.
So too, the American Public has to be kept in the dark about
all of this as well.
But sadly, Pakistan IS in possession of THE BOMB. AS IN WMD!
And, any Fall of Pakistan to the radicals would create:
THE REAL CRISIS THAT DUBYA IS DESPERATELY TRYING TO PIN ON IRAQ!
NAMELY, THE BOMB IN THE HANDS OF MUSLIM RADICALS!
ALAS, DUBYA WILL FINALLY FIND HIS WMD! BUT IN PAKISTAN! NOT IRAQ!
And, the need for a "quicky" invasion of that vast and hostile land has too be on the drawing board somewhere!
But saddly, not in Dubya's Oz-like LaLa Land Worldview!
I have said all along that Pakistan, not Iraq is the real problem.
And, Musharraf's attempt yesterday to distance himself from Dubya &
Chums, although "blacked out" in the US, was an attempt to set
Musharraf right with the Islamic World.
I WOULD EXPECT MUSHARRAF TO PROVIDE ONLY LOW LEVEL SUPPORT FOR DUBYA
GOING FORWARD; IN AFGANHISTAN AND IN IRAQ.
BUT RIGHT NOW, DUBYA CAN'T LIVE WITH MUSHARRAF, and HE CAN'T LIVE
WITHOUT HIM.
MAYBE FOR NOW, PAKISTANI "WINDOW DRESSING,"FOR WESTERN CONSUMPTION ONLY," WILL PASS AS AN "ALLY" ON THE WAR ON THE TERRORISTS.
BUT WINDOW DRESSING IS NOT REAL PROTECTION....
AS WE MIGHT RUDELY FIND OUT, DURING DUBYA'S SECOND DISASTEROUS TERM IN OFFICE.
