Is George Bush the "New Hitler?"
Yes, I know you're outraged! Shocked! Enraged! How dare you say
that!
Well, consider:
THERE ARE SOME VERY HITLER-ESQUE THINGS GOING DOWN IN AMERICA TODAY.
Where to start.....? OK.
1. INSANE ORATORY:
Take Zell Miller's TOTALLY INSANE keynoter to the Republican
convention? If you were a non-English, non-German speaking person,
Zell's speech, and one by Hitler would look and sound VERY SIMILAR!
WE ARE SEEING THIS INTENSE RAGE AMONG THE RELIGIOUS BUBBAS ALL OVER
AMERICA NOW,.....this is very very troubling.
But, you say, Dubya isn't a fire and brimstone orator; he can barely
speak coherently at all!
Remember, the vast majority of Nazis were not gifted orators!
They were mostly "nice" little men, good Germans all, who did their
party's work efficiently, with well pressed suits and uniforms, and
then went home and played with their children.
Even the Anti-Christ will come quoting scriptures and supporting
religious values! ---As any Bible reader surely knows.
2. INTENSE HOMOPHOBIA:
The German Nazis and the American Religious Right both have this
intense homophobia. But why? What difference does it made.
Probably because finding "wedge issues" is VERY, VERY KEY TO FASCIST
POLITICS EVERYWHERE!
FASCISM IS REALLY THE RESULT OF FAILED ELITES TRYING TO DIVERT THE
ATTENTION OF THE IGNORANT MASS OF PEOPLE FROM THE CURRENT DISASTEROUS
SITUATION THE NATION IS IN. THE DISASTER IS OFTEN THE RESULT OF
ELITE'S ECONOMIC GREED, DOMESTIC POLICTY INCOMPENTENCE, OR POORLY
PLANNED WARS.
Sound like anybody we know?
3. DEGENERATE ART:
Student's of history will remember that the German Nazis were very
much against the "DEGENERATE ART" of the 1930's. NAZIS LONGED FOR A
RETURN OF "PURE GERMAN VALUES," AND DENOUNCED THIS "NEW ART" AS
DEGENERATE AND UN-GERMAN. Most of this "degenerate art" was what we
call today German Expressionism, and it is highly valued by
collectors and musuems.
TODAY, THE AMERICAN RELIGIOUS RIGHT IS FOLLOWING THEIR GERMAN FASCIST
ANCESTORS DOWN THE SAME ROAD--BY DENOUNCING AS DEGENERATE "HOLLYWOOD
VALUES."
And, the attack on Hollywood is just beginning. I look for more
censorship and "blacklisting," as the religious right tightens it's
grip on American culture. During the second Bush Term I expect,
perhaps, DEGENERATE ART FILM FESTS by these New American
Nazis...to "expose" the evils of the artistic community. So,
Hollywood beware! They are coming for you!
4. MILITARISM:
Another trait that Nazis and the New Religious Right in America have
in common is Militarism. The so-called War on Terror is really just
the vehicle for the New Militarism in America. When a nation is
failing, as America is now, there is often at attempt to re-claim old
glories, and to lash out at the "evil" world that mis-understands us.
Ms. Dowd suggested that Dubya might decide, with the help of Jesus,
that it's time for the US to invade France! That was supposed to be
a joke, but wait. In the for-us-or-against-us world of the NEW
AMERICAN FASCISTS it could happen!
5. KONCENTRATION KAMP KULTURE:
If, God forbid, there is another terror attack in America; very
likely there will be a move to have Muslims either expelled
or "encamped for security reasons" to prevent further attacks.
Arab and Muslim businesses will be required to "identify themselves,"
by having a crecent in the window, "for security purposes," but also
so the New American Brownshirts will know where to go during the
coming AMERICAN CRYSTAL NIGHTS!
I would also expect that Arabs and Muslims would have to
wear "visible identification," in the form of a "crecent badge," or
some other mark, on their clothing to identify them, "for security
purposes."
Frankly, If I were a Muslim or Arab in America today? I would be
raising cash in the form of Gold and Euros. And selling everything I
had that couldn't be hidden. And, most of all be prepared to LEAVE
AMERICA. ASAP!
After all, aren't all American Muslims one "News Bulletin" away from
being forced out by the New American Right?
CONCLUSION:
OK, WHAT AM I REALLY TRYING TO SAY. JUST THIS:
IT'S NEVER REALLY ABOUT HOMOSEXUALS, OR ART, OR JEWS, OR ARABS, OR
EVEN JESUS!
THESE ARE JUST THE SCAPEGOATS THAT ANY FAILED ELITE MUST USE
TO DIVERT ATTENTION FROM THEIR FAILURES.
THE US ECONOMIC SITUATION IS VERY GRAVE. AND VERY STRUCTURAL IN
NATURE.
THE DEFICITS, AND THERE ARE TOO MANY TO EVEN MENTION, ARE TOTALLY OUT
OF CONTROL.
THE GREED OF THE ELITES IS PART OF THE PROBLEM.
THE INSANE BUBBLEMANIA OF MR GREENSPAN IS PART OF THE PROBLEM.
THE TRIUMPH OF WALL STREET AND THE WEALTHY ELITES HAS NEARLY RUN
IT'S COURSE.
SO, NOW IT'S TIME FOR A LITTLE MILITARISM AND FASCISM! In the great
sweep of history this follows like night follows day.
That, gentle reader, is exactly what we saw in this election.
And, sadly what we will see all too much of during the next four
years.
The liberals had a Chinaman's Chance of averting the coming disaster,
but it was not to be. No shame on Mr Gore. No shame on Mr Kerry.
They and we all tried our best.
But the Republican Red Tide of American Fascism is on the rise, and
nothing but TOTAL CATASTROPE will stop it now.
If the last four years have been a disaster;
WHAT'S COMING WILL MAKE THE FIRST BUSH TERM LOOK LIKE A GOLDEN AGE OF
REASON!
Before the election only the Religious Right was "afraid."
Now we are all afraid! Because:
SOMETHING VERY WICKED THIS WAY COMES.....
