As the holidays approach most Americans can be thankful for our gift
to the world: George W. Bush.
No one could better represent Americans than Dubya.
The world is agast at the goings on in Iraq and in Falluja.
The corruption in Washington is no longer even being hidden, it's
being institutionalized!
After all, why bother hiding it now. Clearly,
Bubba doesn't get it. Why bother! Let the looting begin!
I sense most Americans will approach the second Bush term with fear
and loathing! But, as Karl Rove might say: "It's a good thing."
The economy is running on empty.
At least those parts of the economy that are not: FRIENDS OF
GREENSPAN.
I look for Christmas shopping to be way off this year.
Of course, there will be the usual breathless reports and rosy
predictions; and yes Virginia, the "malls will be packed" after
Thanksgiving; even though no one goes to malls anymore. But
whatever. Hey, it's the news cycle. The News and The Truth
have "disconnected" in America these days.
The tax cuts for the rich are going into the bank, not into Main
Street.
This year the rich go shopping and everyone else goes to church. But
at least we have Jesus and his messanger on earth, Dubya.
What small tax relief Bubba did get, he's already spent and then some.
Was it all worth ballooning the twin deficits. Politically yes, for
Dubya. Economically no for everyone else.
Anyway;
THE DOLLAR BUBBLE AND THE TRADE DEFICIT ARE JUST BEING IGNORED NOW,
BECAUSE THERE IS NO REAL SOLUTION.
SURE, GREENSPAN CAN COLLAPSE THE DOLLAR, SO AMERICANS WILL QUIT
BUYING CHINESE GOODS.
BUT, WHAT'S LEFT TO BUY WHEN YOU TAKE ALL THE "MADE IN CHINA" STUFF
OUT OF WALMART! NOTHING REALLY!
MAYBE A HYPER-INFLATION?
GREENSPAN SHOULD TELL US, IN DETAIL, WHAT HIS REHABILITATIVE DOLLAR
COLLAPSE WILL FEEL LIKE ON MAIN STREET, AND ON WALL STREET.
ALAS, GLOBALISM HAS DONE IT'S MISERABLE JOB, JUST AS IT DID IN 1914
AND 1929! AND NOW IT'S TIME TO PAY THE BILL YET AGAIN.
IRAQ HAS BECOME A MUSLIM KILLING FIELD FOR THE US MILITARY. IRAQ
WILL NOT SURVIVE THIS OCCUPATION. BANK ON IT.
AND, THE NEXT TERROR ATTACK, SO OFT PREDICTED BY CHENEY AND CONDI, IS
WELL,.......? WE'RE STILL WAITING FOR THE NEXT SHOE TO FALL.
AND IF IT DOES? GENTLE READER, WE'RE TALKING ABOUT A "BRAVE NEW
WORLD" THAT FEW HAVE EVEN STARTED TO THINK ABOUT! THE 'NEXT ATTACK"
