Amid the clamor about the terror in the middle east, one "solution" to the problem is always somehow overlooked.
JUST END THE OCCUPATIONS!
For all of their complaining about Muslims, Sharon and Dubya have one key thing in common:
THEY BOTH OCCUPY MUSLIM LAND!
AND REFUSE TO LEAVE!
My unconsidered opinion is:
TRY ENDING THESE OCCUPATIONS FIRST; AND THEN SEE WHAT HAPPENS. IN SHORT, GIVE PEACE A CHANCE. And remember the "wars" are not exactly going well!
THIS TERRORISM/OCCUPATION QUESTION IS SORT OF LIKE THE OLD CHICKEN/EGG QUESTION.
Which came first?
Well, who the Hell knows!
There is one thing that hasn't been tried however, and that is ending the Western occupations of Muslim land; pulling back to defensible borders, and then let the Muslim moderates have a chance to show what they can do---UNOCCUPIED!
Of course we could "consult" with these newly "unoccupied" Muslim nation-states to "assist" them in the transition to Democracy----without resuming bombing at the slightest provocation.
Now remember, you can always re-occupy if necessary. Nothing ventured nothing gained.
Of course, Sharon and Dubya are "in this thing" for slightly different reasons:
SHARON AND THE LIKUD WANT TO ANNEX THE WEST BANK AS "BIBLICAL ISRAEL." AND THEIR DEED OF TRANSFER IS "THE BIBLE."
DUBYA IS IN IRAQ FOR WHAT?
WMD? TO "GET SADDAM?" TO "PROTECT AMERICA?" OR, IS IT REALLY FOR THE OIL?
WHO KNOWS AT THIS POINT.
BUT CLEARLY, IT'S ALL FALLING "JELLY SIDE DOWN" NOW ANYWAY!
SO, THERE IS A "NEW SOLUTION" TO "THE ARAB PROBLEM" THAT THE "WEST" HASN'T TRIED YET......
JUST LEAVE, AND LET THE MUSLIMS HAVE THEIR LANDS BACK?
Is that really so far fetched?
