Clearly some Iraqis like the idea of having their own Shia government free of the old "evil elite."
In truth MOST Western Democraies could use a similar ELITE FLUSH every twenty years or so.
Under American occupation the new Shia Dominated Government will take root. True, we backed the "nice" Sunnis in the 1970's, but a that was then this is now.
Many Shia are now happy that the US has turned Iraq and it's oil wealth over to them. Who wouldn't be!!
And, as long as Dubya lets the Iraqi Shia work with their Iranian brothers....everything will be great.
The US taxpayer is BEGGING ALL Iraqis to PLEASE LET US RE-BUILD YOUR COUNTRY....... WE WANT TO STAY HERE....AND SPEND US TAXPAYER MONEY....
And the Shia and Kurds may just agree....maybe. .OK, send us your money, send us your troops to gaurd our borders from evil Sunni malecontents from the neighboring Sunni countries, like the House of Saud.
And get off Iran's back.........?
Then, maybe we'll let you live in the desert for a while....if that's what you really want. Besides with the Baathist Socialists out of power.....we'll need the jobs and the money a military base will bring in......
