Can the New Government in Iraq ever "work?"
Well, consider: Will Kurds ever "rule" Iraq from Baghdad? Will Shia ever be in charge of Sunni areas?
Will anything be possible when the Kurds are really only half committed to the process, having a hidden agenda of an Indepentant Kurdistan, with the northern oil fields?
My sense is that the Kurds will stay in Baghdad ONLY as long as they get what they want. When the going gets rough....the Kurds will leave and perhaps the "next bombing" by Americans will be in the Kurdish northern regions....?
So far there is not one single shread of evidence that the current Iraqi "government" can, OR EVER WILL, govern in Iraq.....!
