At the gas pump and in the labor market America is running on empty.
The Current Labor Number was dismal....now even retailing is laying off.
Worse there are predictions of $4 gas..... While at the gas station yesterday I noticed that the person before me had put in $5 worth of gas! I thought, that guy was running on empty....! And come to think of it--he still is!
I usually put in at least $20 at the pumps....just to see the needle move a little!
But come to think of it I'm running on empty now too.....the ENTIRE US ECONOMY IS RUNNING ON EMPTY.
And saddly, no one in positions of power has any incentive to do anything about it.
