In light of the Schiavo Case, it's Time for Republicans to step up to the plate on Medical Care for everyone.....
The hypocrisy of a Right to Life without a Right to Medical Treatment is way too obvious.
True, hypocrisy and ignorance are the heart and soul of the Religious Right....but even they must notice the contradictions in Republican policy.
Right to Life, but Cut Medicaid for the poorest and sickest Americans....? I don't think so!
Even if Delay and Dubya were ONLY putting on the midnight show for their red state base; "Terry's Law" had THE IMPLIED RIGHT TO HEALTH CARE in it's legislative intent....if not in the actual text of the legislation.
Terry Schiavo will have died in vain, if a push of health care coverage for the 45 million uninsured Americans does result from this Republican-staged media event/execution......
