Whatever happens in Lebanon...
The US and Israel will be seriously degraded in the eyes of the world...
The Neocons in Washington are trying to support one group of Shias in Iraq...while sponsering the destruction of another in Lebanon... And people have noticed!
The UN envoy for humanitarian issues called the Israeli bombing in South Beirut and "war crime"---even as the Bush Administration rushed more bombs to Israel!
Presumably the US has sunk as low as it can go...and that alone is some consolation in many circles...
But for many people the Washington response to the Lebanon Debacle was yet another "eye-roller."
BOTH ISRAEL AND THE US WILL COME OUT OF THE LEBANON CRISIS GREATLY REDUCED...
AND EVEN MORE HATED AROUND THE WORLD--BY MUSLIMS AND NON-MUSLIMS ALIKE...
BECAUSE WHO IS BACKING THE INSANITY IN ISRAEL...? WHO EXCEPT THE NEOCONS AND THE MOST PITIFUL EXCUSE FOR A PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF AMERICA?
And what comes next...?
One thing is certain, Bush and Israel are going to be increasingly out of the loop...as the geopolitical world writes them off as a hopeless cases.
AFTER THE LEBANON CRISIS, THERE WILL BE MUCH GREATER UNITY OF INTERESTS BETWEEN THE ARAB AND MUSLIM STATES OF THE MIDDLE EAST, AND EUROLAND, RUSSIA, ASIA, IN PARTICULAR CHINA, AND THE REST OF THE WORLD COMMUNITY...
...AS THE US AND THE RAPIDLY AGING ISRAELI THEOCRACY DRIFTS INTO DECLINE...
