I've got a bad feeling about the Rice "More War" Mission to Rome concerning the Lebanon debacle...
Rice will be spouting a Likud/Neocon party line that is totally off the charts off world opinion...
This will only enflame the Arab and Muslim Street even more...not to mention everyone else!
And will Arab "governments" kow-tow to Ms Rice and do what she says...as expected? I really doubt it... Why should they...? After THIS!
In fact, Ms Rice could recieve several rather undiplomatic and embarassing "tongue lashings" while in Rome; from Muslim and non-Muslim participants alike...
Further, we all know how flustered and semi-hyterical Ms Rice becomes when put under pressure...especially when others reject her annoying tendancy to "lecture."
Let's hope she doesn't throw one of her school-marmy Hizzy Fits in front of the cameras next week...!
It is quite likely to be very intense for Rice...as she goes to Rome holding a very weak hand.
The only real issue is has Israel commited War Crimes with US support or...perhaps not yet?
In diplomacy a weak hand can be very, very unpleasant indeed...
