I suppose in the new Republican "dumbed down" economy this jobs report would be considered "good." But labor force participation seems to be going down...as more and more people leave the labor market and give up finding gainful employment in and economy that is obsessed with low wages, no benefits and the hiring of "illegals" to avoid paying the FICA tax...
AN AMAZING TRAGEDY FOR THE AMERICAN WORKER! ALAS WHO SEEMS MORE CONCERNED WITH "WEDGE ISSUES" LIKE HOMOS AND FLAG BURNING...THAN THE FACT THAT THEY AND THE CHILDREN DON'T HAVE A FUTURE BECAUSE OF WALL STREET'S GREED AND THE MEDIA DOMINATION OF THE GLOBAL AND AMERICAN PLUTOCRACY... VERY SAD.

Even as the usual fake number...this is dismal... The weakness in temps (Professional Services) and Retailing is especially disturbing... The Leisure number looks like a fudge: Why at the end of summer are hotels hiring? The decline in government is long overdue considering that most local and state governments are bankrupt. The slight rise in construction is because most construction is done by illegal Mexicans these days. And the decline in manufacturing is rather great considering that there are so few factories in the US left to close...maybe the auto/autosupplier group helped here.
