SADR MAKES TACTICAL MOVE...?

The willingness of Sadr to come back into the government of Iraq...is likely only a tactical move.

The Sadrites will never accept a US backed puppet government in Iraq...or even one that is pro-Western... And it's unlikely that anything the Shia do under the present situation can be seen as "Pro-American".

Sadr has the ability to go hot and cold on the occupation as needed...also vis-a-vis the other Shia parties in Iraq...

Sadr is dead set against the American occupation...and he will never accept Sunni "civil rights" in Baghdad.

THE RECENT MOVE BY SADR IS LIKELY JUST ANOTHER TACTICAL MOVE...AND NOT A STRATEGIC CHANGE...IN HOW HE CONFRONTS THE US OCCUPATION FORCES...

SADR WILL NEVER ENGAGE THE US IN PITCHED BATTLES IN BAGHDAD...BUT HE WILL CONTINUE HIS REAR-GUARD SNIPING ACTION THAT HAS BEEN SO DEADLY OF LATE.

THE NOTION THAT MALIKI WILL SUDDENLY "TURN ON" SADR SEEMS TO BE A KIND OF PROGAGANDA PLOY BASED ON A NOTION THAT MALIKI IS REALLY "IN THE DARK" ABOUT WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING...

LIKELY THE US MEDIA IS BEING FED THIS DISINFORMATION TO SET UP THE STATE OF THE UNION SPEECH LATER THIS WEEK...

BUT THERE ARE NO HOSANNA MOMENTS LEFT FOR BUSH IN IRAQ...
