SUNNIS RIOT ABOUT SADDAM HANGING...

Considering the blatant attempt by the Iraqi Shia and their Iranian backers to take total control of Iraq...perhaps the Sunnis are NOT demostrating to come back into power...

BUT merely NOT to be left out of power...! Has anyone thought about this...?

Consider:

The Shia political parties have shown absolutely no willingness to compromise...NONE, and their religious leaders won't even talk to the occupation forces.

Indeed, they seem to be playing Bush off against Iran at every opportunity to enhance their power in Iraq.

The BIG problem is that Bush has been supporting his natural enemies in Iraq and fighting his natural friends...

But is it too late to change horses now...? Has Mr Sadr and his Shia militia got Bush & Co. between Iraq and a hard place?

Perhaps... One thing is clear...under the current game plan...Iraq will be slowly "ethnically cleansed" of Sunnis...who will likely flee to Jordan, Syria, Saudi Arabia or any other majority Sunni nation that will have them...probably by the end of 2007.

The dirty little secret is that it's the Shia and the Iranians who are the real "trouble makers."

Not the Sunnis... at least in the long run.

Because, the US and it's allies in the middle east, including Israel and the House of Saud, simply will not stand for an Iranian/Shia dominated Iraq...that is just out of the question...

Nor will the Kurds be allowed their independance...as they are now expecting.

AT SOME POINT BUSH IS GOING TO TURN AGAINST THE "NEW SHIA GOVERNMENT" IN IRAQ... AND THE KURDS OF DE FACTO KURDISTAN.

AND THEN HE WILL FORCED TO EMBRACE THE SUNNIS...WHO HAVE BEEN THE TRADITIONAL ALLIES OF THE WEST....AND NOT THE "PERSIANS" AND SHIA OF EASTERN ARABY.

HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF...BUT DAMN, WHEN YOU HAVE A MORON IN CHARGE...IT JUST TAKES A LOT LONGER...
