When the Teabaggers started ranting to force the US to default on its bond debts...
It suddenly became clear ...that these people were not ready for prime time... AM Hate Radio...The Fox Freak Show at Night...maybe... In power in Congress...no way!
The entire "movement" seemed to rely on a few town hall rants...that were played over and over on national TV... And the Fox Format of "News-otainment" was still "new and entertaining"...and Glenn Beck was soaring...and Public Policy as a Screamfest was good for Advertising...
Then...somehow it was all exposed as "Just Entertainment"...mostly designed to sell the books of the Fox pundits...
Additionally the radical right is allowed to make up their own "truths"... Outright lies where repeated over and over on Fox...
But because "conservative talk" was all "Bubba Talk"...it didn't have to pass the same accuracy tests that (Serious) Progressive Ideas have to reach...
Today...its just Fox ranting about how "unpopular" Obama is...while the Republican Clown Show moves on to the next Freak of the week...
I think that the working class whites wanted to rant...but they didn't quite know how to do it...Then Came Fox and gave them a venue... But it was the wrong issues and made no sense in the end...
