Asians eat a lot of things that Westerners don't... This merely shows that Obama is much better traveled than most Republicans...and more exposed to the real world...

It should be mentioned that Asians eat a lot of normal things too...like rice...lots of rice...and veggies and potatoes and cabbages which they grow on the higher areas... Lots of chicken...
The Fruits that Asians have access to are legendary and highly sought after like the Mangosteen and the Durian and some things that have no "English Name" because they are completely local...and are very hard to get...actually impossible to find...in the West...
A walk through an Asian market will present a lot of things that Westerners do not really recognize as "food"...

Vietnamese soups seem to have a lot of things with suckers and antennae floating in them...which can be difficult for a Westerner to look at ...not to mention eat...
