For strictly reading text on a small screen...ebooks are fine... They get the job done...point A point B...but it is a rather dry and soulless experience...
For photos and color graphics...and that sense of scale and substance that you can hold and look at...and to commune with this weighty tome...?
E-books have a ways to go...
The book as object will be around for a long while... But I don't see ebooks and physical books as in a "death struggle"...
I see it as more like Movies and TV... Sometimes a large screen is better...sometimes a small screen...is just fine...
