If France had Fox News...the austerity types would still be in power...
The French are more class conscious than Americans...as are all Eurolanders who had to fight to get rid of their aristocrats in the 20th Century...
Maybe a good long depression will teach Americans the lessons Europeans already know... Right now "duping the stupids" still works...
But there is a new word game being played recently...
"Socialism"....means "growth"... Fiscal Restraint means..."austerity"
We'll probably have something like that here soon...
Everyone wants growth...few people want austerity...
