So much of politics is tied to special interests...Wall Street...Public Unions...Racism...God, Guns and War...etc....that clear thinking is nearly impossible...

Even the MSM deals in the "false equivalency" notion that the right has something useful to say...
Genuine progressive thinking is really absent from the political space in this country...
America is the only nation that does not have "public intellectuals"...who are the opinion leaders on policy...
