Zig-Zag Zell for Secretary of Defense?
IT COULD HAPPEN!
As predicted HERE; yesterday was, OLD SICK AND TWISTED DAY at the RNC.
Between Zell and Cheney, the AMERICAN PUBLIC got a pretty good idea
of WHAT COMES NEXT! FOUR MORE YEARS!
MORE WAR! MORE HATE! MORE FEAR! MORE LIES! MORE PAIN! MORE
STUPIDITY!
All I can say is thank God Zell left the stage of his own accord
yesterday, for a while there I was afraid that they would have to
call the guys in the "white coats" with a net, and a tranquilizer
dart!
Phew........! FOUR MORE YEARS!
Any way, my hunch is that the AMERICAN PEOPLE have seen enough at
this convention to want to TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT FOR A WHILE.
ANYTHING WILL DO! ANYTHING IS BETTER THAN THIS! FOUR MORE YEARS!
That said, like Ms. Dowd at the NYT, I kinda hope that Dubya
wins...., (or at least my "evil twin" does),
Because, for some strange reason, I feel that the the American Public
needs Kerry; BUT IT DESERVES BUSH! FOUR MORE YEARS!
AS YOU KNOW, I AM NO FAN OF STUPIDITY. AND DUBYA HAS GIVEN US
NOTHING BUT IS HIS TEXAS BRAND OF STUPIDITY FROM DAY ONE.
HE SAT AND LISTENED TO "MY PET GOAT" FOR SEVEN MINUTES AFTER THE WTC
WAS HIT!!!
AND, WHEN DID THE PENTAGON GET IT? AT THE END OF THE GOAT STORY
MAYBE. THAT'S YOUR "DECISIVE LEADERSHIP!" FOR YOU. FOUR MORE YEARS!
FOUR MORE YEARS? GOD HELP US ALL!
THEN WHAT DID HE DO? OUR "BRAVE LEADER" HIGH TAILED IT FOR NEBRASKA
TO HIDE!!!
HE HUNKERED IN A NEBRASKE BUNKER FOR MOST OF THAT DAY ON 911; OR, AT
LEAST, UNTIL CHENEY TOLD HIM IT WAS SAFE TO COME HOME NOW!!!
PITIFUL! PITIFUL REALLY. FOUR MORE YEARS!
MY HUNCH IS THAT THE PEOPLE WILL WISE UP TO THIS REPUBLICAN NONSENSE
BEFORE ELECTION DAY; MAYBE. MAYBE NOT.
IF THE PEOPLE DO WISE UP, MS DOWD WILL NEED A NEW "MOJO" COME JANUARY!
And, actually so will I!
But, don't worry, when you've been doing GLOOM AND DOOM as long as I
have? It's doable!
We'll come up with something.
And, did I mention that ZELL MILLER IS A NUT!

Postscript: The best quote of the day was in the NYT today when a pundit described the REPUBLICAN DELEGATES as: SERIOUSLY DAMAGED PEOPLE!! Amen to that.....we see it everyday now.
