Could DUBYA'S DOLLAR start biting the global economy in 2005?

IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT WALL STREET ANY MORE....

There are many other players that have a big interest in the US
dollar problem; not the least of whom are the big bond holders of
Asia; China and Japan.

Since the US markets are so well "managed" and controlled nowadays,
it is very possible that when "the real trouble" starts it could come
in some remote part of Asia! A provincial bank failure in China.
Or...?

Note well, the biggest global financial crashes have ALWAYS
started in the most remote and out of the way places!

That's just an historical fact.....

The media pundits should make the public aware that: THE CHAIN
ALWAYS BREAKS AT IT'S WEAKEST LINK.

And, that's often at the least obvious place!

Very likely, that "weak link" won't be found in New York or Wall
Street or in Washington!

Heck, the weak link might even be at your hometown Walmart! Who
knows?

This mornings Nikkei plunge could be a sign of something
bigger....something hidden. Something more ominous.

I've got a bad feeling about this recent dollar plunge; and about 2005
in general. Something is just not right......

This time, it could be THE BIG ONE.

There is just something in the air now that's new. It's Different.

Maybe it's our "four more years" problem finally sinking in at home,
and around the world?

Maybe it's simply the eventual finally meeting up with the
inevitable?

Maybe, it's just all this damn rainy cold cloudy weather?

Or, maybe it's a butterfly perched on a lotus flower somewhere in
China.....................?

Maybe......?

SHORT STOPS: ZELL, RUMMY AND JOBS!

News that a US group is seeking to have German Prosecutors charge
Rumsfeld with War Crimes is,,,,.well interesting. And it could be a
sign of things to come if the situation in Iraq deteriorates further.

At some point, the US is going to have to fish or cut bait in Iraq.

Just killing ever more Iraqis will eventually cause revulsion in the
international community.

And, I might note that Dubya isn't everyone's cup of tea, outside of
the "Walmart States" in the American born again Bible Belt:

BERLIN (Reuters) - A U.S. human rights group has urged German
prosecutors to investigate accusations that U.S.
Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and senior U.S. officers are guilty
of war crimes over the Iraqi prisoner abuse scandal.

In an unusual legal move on Tuesday, the U.S. Centre for
Constitutional Rights (CCR) has filed a criminal complaint with
Germany's Federal Prosecutors along with four Iraqis who say they were
tortured and humiliated alongside other prisoners by
U.S. soldiers at the notorious Abu Ghraib prison outside Baghdad.

CCR is taking advantage of a 2002 German law allowing prosecutions for
human rights and war crimes regardless of
where the acts took place or the nationalities of the perpetrators.

The group says Rumsfeld, former CIA Director George Tenet, a senior
Defence official and seven U.S. military officers,
including the former top U.S. commander in Iraq, Lt. Gen. Ricardo
Sanchez, were ultimately responsible for the torture and
humiliation of the Iraqis by U.S. soldiers at Abu Ghraib.

US for the grievous breach of the peace in Iraq.

GREENSPAN'S ECONOMY: A TOXIC SOUP!

Amid reports of better GDP, the dollar is still in trouble and there is a troubling inflation in housing prices.

Clearly, the Fed is BEHIND THE CURVE on interest rates. Greenspans attempt to "cut the dog's tail off one inch at a time" is having markent consequences.

With gold and oil on the rise, Greenspan should take a page from the older playbook and shock the markets with a 50 BP hike at the December Fed meeting.

By taking all "surprise" out of the Fed Policy Greenspan has sought to placate his Bubble Buddies on Wall Street; but apparently, foreign central banks are not amused.

Greenspan's dip-dip-dip approach to rates could leave us with HIGH RATES! HIGH INFLATION! A WEAK DOLLAR! AND $500 GOLD AND $60 OIL!

Part of the problem is that the Greenspan's Bubble Buddies are still awash in liquidity. And what we are seeing now is not DEMAND INFLATION BUT EXCESS LIQUIDITY INFLATION.

OR, IF YOU PREFER, TOO MANY DOLLARS IN THE WRONG HANDS!

THE RICH, AS TRUMAN CAPOTE HAS NOTED PREPARE VEGETABLES DIFFERENTLY;

BUT, MORE IMPORTANTLY, THE RICH SPEND THEIR MONEY DIFFERENTLY!

With money now hermetically sealed off from the working classes, and with the rich awash in dollars, you need only "do the math" to see where this entire house of cards breaks down.

Too many dollars chasing hard assets, even as China exports deflation in manufactured goods.

BUT SADDLY, THE CHINA SYNDROME WILL NOT SAVE GREENSPAN FROM HIS EXCESSES FOREVER!

AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHATS HAPPENING NOW. THE US ECONOMY HAS BECOME A TOXIC SOUP OF CONTRADICTIONS. BUT THE FINAL RESULT IS STARTING TO BE SEEN BY MANY INFORMED PERSONS.

The best way to describe it is A NEW STAGFLATION, THAT IS, HIGHER PRICES FOR HARD ASSETS EVEN AS THE REST OF THE ECONOMY SLOWLY GRINDS ON.

BAD FOR MAIN STREET AND BAD FOR WALL STREET

FAITH BASED SHOPPING AT WALMART!

Dubya may be spending his "capital" on more tax cuts and Enron-style
looting of the American Economy;

But Dubya voters in the "Walmart States" are finding that YOU CAN'T
SPEND JESUS!

Apparently, Walmart still want's REAL MONEY.

ALAS, SHOPPING IS NOT A FAITH BASED INITIATIVE!

That said, you can always "walk around" and window shop, and many
retail spin doctors are now hyping that end of the retail data--foot
traffic! Hmm....mall rats?

Anyway;

The dollar is a little over bought, considering that it fell like a
stone all last week. But, GOLD is soaring to mid ' 80's levels
nearing$450/oz. Clearly, gold is the one and only big macro-bet that
everyonecan love.

China is angry about the dollar, and Japan hasn't bought dollars
since spring....remember the back head-fake "bond crash" last April?

But the Inaguration of Dubya for a dismal Term Two could be a BIG
DOWNER for the dollar and the bond; as it finally sinks in that we're
stuck with FOUR MORE YEARS!

And of course, Iraq and the middle east will continue to simmer. Iraq
and American deaths are becoming like a "low grade fever" in the news
cycle.

Two more today. Tomorrow one, or maybe three....and so it goes.

FInding REPLACEMENT TROOPS could be the big story of 2005! After all,
these weekend warriors want to come home sometime soon!

We've got to the point where JUST TREADING WATER ON JOBS is considered
to be an hosanna moment on Wall Street.

The hope is for 200,000 in November. Well, maybe.......but the job
market is still structurally weak and everyone knows it.

Especially DUBYA VOTERS who walked around Walmarts this week "just
looking!"

THE RICH WILL SHOP TILL THEY DROP. DUBYA WILL SPEND HIS NEW
"CAPITAL."

BUT ALAS, DUBYA'S PEOPLE CAN'T SPEND JESUS AT THE MALLS!

SO, GO HOME AND HAVE A HEAPING PLATE OF "FAMILY VALUES!"

But there's always the second hand thrift shops, and the Dollar
Stores! Dollar Stores are booming! And filled with good "Dubya"
born-again Christians these days!

If you caught Meet the Press this morning; you got a pre-view of my
plan for dealing with the Religious Right in America.

NAMELY, LET THEM TALK!

The best way to discredit the Religious Right is just to let them talk; and then to guide their childish conversation to those areas that they want to avoid.

The assembled Meet the Press Reverends wanted to talk abortion and gay marriage.

But, others made them consult their Bibles, about Unjust Wars and
Poverty, and the seperation of Church and State, and giving to Caesar
what is Caesar's.

Then it gets dicey. The truth is simply this: IF POVERTY WERE LESS,
THERE WOULD BE FAR FEWER ABORTIONS.

ANOTHER TRUTH IS THAT THE SOUTH IS THE BIBLE BELT!

BUT, IT IS ALSO THE DIVORCE BELT! AND THE GOVERNMENT DISABILITY BELT!

PROBABLY BECAUSE OF WIDE SPREAD POVERTY AND LACK OF EDCUATION!

MY BIGGEST GRIPE WITH THE "RELIGIOUS RIGHT" IS NOT THEIR "BELIEFS."
IT'S THEIR INCREDIBLE HYPOCRISY! I mean Dubya was a reformed
alcoholic! And now God picks him to be president! Oh please....!

Saddly, few ignorant or religious people watch the "talking heads" on
Sunday Morning---maybe they're all in church? Or sleeping off a
Saturday Night Drunk!

I find that, (perhaps like with Ms Dowd's family below), the Bushies
DON'T TALK POLITICS; THEY WATCH FOOTBALL!

NOW EXACTLY HOW WATCHING ESPN 24.7.365 MAKES THESE PEOPLE "QUALIFIED"
TO EXPRESS AN OPINION ON PUBLIC POLICY, OR TO VOTE INTELLIGENTLY EVERY
FOUR YEARS IS BEYOND ME.

Except of course that it is their "consitutional right" to do so.

Still, I think the Democratic Left should encourage the Republican
Religious Right to talk!

AND TALK! AND TALK! AND TALK!

Because the more they talk, the more they sound like AN AMERICAN
TALIBAN!

And there is something about expressing an ignorant or foolish
position in a public forum that makes it look even more foolish and
nonsensical;

Even if that same opinion would pass muster "in church."

Remember how Clarance Darrow took apart William Jennings Bryan in the
SCOPES MONEKY TRIAL?

DARROW SIMPLY LET BRYAN TALK HIMSELF INTO A CORNER!

EVENTUALLY;

BRYAN'S "LITERAL INTERPRETATION" OF THE BIBLE HAD THE SNAKE IN GENESIS
BOUNCING AROUND ON HIS TAIL, AS ITS MEANS OF LOCOMATION BEFORE ADAM'S
FALL!!

DARROW HAD THE "RELIGIOUS" SOUTHERN COURT ROOM SPECTATORS LAUGHING AT
BRYAN AT THE END OF THE TRIAL!


The point is that these religious folks can look very very foolish
when the sunlight of reason and logic is allowed to flood into their
churchs!

It's sad really, because many of these people are so desperate to
believe in something beyond themselves. Yet, they get caught up in
the mumbo-jumbo of religion and superstition. And then they are
vulnerable to all sorts of hatreds and killing and wars all "in the
name of God."

KNOW THIS: THE NEW AMERICAN TALIBAN WILL SELF-DESTRUCT IF THE MEDIA
LETS THEM----JUST KEEP TALKING!

SHADES OF "THE GREAT ORATOR!" WILLIAM JENNINGS BRYANT!

History repeats.....just a little bit every decade or so.

Religion is an insturment of social control. That's why the Roman
Emperor Constantine "adopted" Christianity! Constantine saw a new way
to control the vast population of the Roman Empire.

And, so to today, the American elites are using religion as a means of
controlling the American masses; and making them do what's right for
the elites, but not necessarily for the people as a whole.
Understand?

IS STUPIDITY INEVITABLE

Should you happen to read Dowd and Friedman in the NYT today, you might conclude that stupidity is unstoppable!

Dowd relates a Thanksgiving Dinner where all her relatives are big Dubya Backers. And, Friedman notes that for all his rush to war, Dubya has no idea of what comes next!

Indeed, while picking up some coffee this morning, two reasonably normal and intelligent looking guys, within ear shot, where loudly bemoaning the teaching of evoution in the schools as "fact."

My own Thanksgiving Dinner was more liberal, indeed, almost a bunch of Deaniacs! Alas, maybe next year we'll invite Dowd over for some turkey in a less hostile atmosphere.

STILL, THERE ARE A TON OF REALLY REALLY STUPID PEOPLE IN AMERICA TODAY!

And, for that reason, I fear for the future of America....if indeed anyone now really believes that America has a future!

Frankly, I'm having serious doubts. That's why I've started posting emigration links on this boards links page; see News for American Expats in the links section herein. Younger people should seriously consider leaving Ameica ASAP if they want to have any future at all.

ALAS, IT MAY BE TIME FOR WHOLE FAMILIES TO START THINKING ABOUT LEAVING THE US FOR THE MORE RATIONAL AND TOLERANT PARTS OF THE GLOBE.

BECAUSE....THINGS WILL NOT GO WELL HERE IN THE US FOR A LONG LONG TIME TO COME.

THE ECONOMY HAS PRETTY MUCH BEEN LOOTED TO THE BONE.

AND, THE STUPIDS ARE BEING ENCOURAGED TO "VOTE JESUS."

RELIGION TRULY IS THE OPIATE OF THE AMERICAN MASSES NOWADAYS!

AND, THE RELIGOUS RIGHT IS ON AN OPIATE HIGH THAT CAN ONLY END IN A DISASTER! ....A CRASH OF BIBICAL PROPORTIONS IS COMING!

Still, it has occured to me that humanity may have a "self-destruct" gene that kicks in every 40 or 50 years.....where logic and reason and intelligence are simply not wanted.

TODAY, WE ALL SEEM TO BE ON A TRIP TO HELL WITH JESUS AND DUBYA LEADING THE WAY!

AND EVERYONE IS SINGING HYMNS! AND SHOUTING HOSANNAS!

Of course, some of us aren't singing; we're just moving our lips and hoping no one notices.....................

LET THE STUPIDS RULE! THERE ARE JUST TOO MANY OF THEM FOR THE NEW YORK TIMES EDITORIAL PAGE TO HANDLE!

BLACK FRIDAY TURNS TO RED!

At the Mall:

Amid the hype about "foot traffic" and "parking lots" there is little in the way of actual spending going on.

Now Walmart is 'fessing up that retailing basically stinks. But why?

Most retailers have noticed a trend in customer buying that seems to indicate that they are living paycheck to paycheck and that the credit cards are nearly full.

This appears as BIG SPENDING AT THE BEGINNING OF THE MONTH, as Social Security and SSI and Disability Checks come out.

But, BIG DROPS AT THE END OF THE MONTH, as people run out of money, before their next check arrives and as they save money for first of the month bill paying.

IN SHORT, THE LAST WEEKEND OF ANY MONTH STINKS NOW!

AND THAT INCLUDES THE LAST FRIDAY IN NOVEMBER---OUR SO CALLED "BLACK FRIDAY."

Additionally, Gas Prices have shell shocked many people. And the heating season is looming ominously---with some early cold snaps providing a preview of what's to come.

Many tenants get evicted or move about the time the second big heating bill arrives! And a turn off looms. Go figure! They'll move in with mom and dad, or friends, and wait for the warm weather to return; before getting back into the rental market. Any landlord with a vacant apartment on December 1st, might just have to wait till spring to get a tenant nowadays! Unless the apartment is in Yuma, Arizona!

Finally, the DOLLAR STORES AND THRIFT SHOPS seem to be booming, right along with TIFFANY'S AND NORDSTRUMS!

NET NET;

MANY MID-LEVEL RETAILERS, LIKE WALMART, TARGET AND SEARS ARE GOING IN THE RED ON THIS BLACK FRIDAY!

SO, MORE "MERGERS," AND A FEW BANKRUPTCIES AFTER THE NEW YEAR?

Of course!

Per usual......look for the Black Friday gloom to surface early next week, with a chill wind blowing down Wall Street.

THE COARSENING OF AMERICA

So-called Social Conservatives like to talk about the "coarsening of
America."

By this they seem to mean American society is becoming more
abrasive and rude and less sociable "than in the olden days."

But Wait a minute; JUST WHAT OLD DAYS ARE THEY TALKING ABOUT?

Surely not the old days of JIM CROW LAWS in the South!

Surely not the old days of Negro Lynching, where smiling white folks
would gather 'round for a photo-op beside the hung and burned body of
a black man!

Surely not the old days of "coat-hanger" backstreet abortions where
young women were often mutilated or killed by quack abortionists!

Surely not the old days where gays were jailed, beaten and robbed and
forced into a lifestyle that expected them to become alcoholics and
early suicides!

Surely not the old days of DDT, Asbestos, and Strip Mining and Black Lung Disease!

Surely not the old days of only three national broadcast networks where choice and diversity of programing was all but impossible! And Where "black programing" was totally seperate from "white programing."

Surely not the old days of McCarthy's Witch Hunts against anyone who was different!

(Even though the Mc Carthy Crowd turned out to be a big bunch of sick "pervs" themselves!)

WHAT EXACTLY DO THE SOCIAL CONSERVATIVES MEAN BY THE COARSENING OFAMERICA?

Hmmmmm.?

OK, PERHAPS, MAYBE,...........AM TALK RADIO!

WITH IT'S HATE SPEECH!

RACISM!

AND HYPOCRITICAL "WHITE" RELIGIOUSITY!

TWILIGHT OF THE ELITES

The Good News is The Global Elites are in decline. The Bad News is
that the Global Elites are still in control.

The years from 1982 to 2002 could be described as THE TRIUMPH OF THE
ELITES. The economy was arranage, "is if" only capital mattered; the
power of labor declined significantly.

In 1989 the "Communist Treat" was declared defeated. The Soviet
Union decended into a "mafia state." So, the global elites were
victorious against their biggest enemy--Marxism and a Worker
Controled Economy.

BUT THAT WAS THEN AND THIS IS NOW;

Since 1989 there has been continued consolidation of power in the
global elite, but there is also resistance developing in the form of
anti-globalization movements. And the liberal left has been awakened
in ways not seen since the 1930's; for example the Howard Dean
candidacy in 2004.

Now, we are at the final peak of elite control of the global
economy.

And, alas, there is only one way to go: DOWN! DOWN! DOWN!

THE ELITES HAVE PRETTY MUCH LOOTED THE US AND GLOBAL ECONOMIES OF
EVERYTHING OF VALUE.

...DEBT BOTH PUBLIC AND PRIVATE IS AT ALL TIME HIGHS.

LABOR IS FLAT ON IT'S BACK....AND WORKERS WAGES ARE STAGNANT AT BEST,
OR FALLING ON A GLOBAL BASIS.

THE US GOVERNMENT IS NEARLY BANKRUPT; BECAUSE OF ALL THE LOOTING, AND
THE GLOBALIZATION OF INDUSTRY.

INDEED, WHILE AMERICANS ATE TURKEY YESTERDAY; THE GLOBAL CURRENCY
MARKETS SOLD OFF THE DOLLAR TO YET ANOTHER NEW ALL TIME LOW!

AND GOLD SOARED!

WITH MORE OF THE SAME TO COME!

BECAUSE OIL AND GOLD AND THE EURO ARE SEEN AS RISING EVEN AS THE
AMERICAN TWIN DEFICITS STRANGLE THE US ECONOMY FROM WITHIN.

AND WITHOUT! WARS AND INSURGENCIES SAP THE AMERICAN FEDERAL FISC,
ALMOST WITHOUT END.

OSAMA HAS TRICKED DUBYA INTO GEO-BANKRUPTING THE US;

IN MUCH THE SAME WAY THAT THE AFGHAN WARS BANKRUPTED THE SOVIET UNION
IN THE LATE 1980'S. CALL IT A CASE OF "IMPERIAL OVERREACH" STRIKES
AGAIN!

IN SHORT, THE ELITES ARE AT THE VERY END OF THEIR ROPE.

THE ELITES ARE NEARLY FINISHED.

EVEN NOW, AS THE ELITES SEEM TO BE REACHING A NEW HIGH POINT; THERE
IS, ALAS, ONLY ONE WAY FOR THEM TO GO---AND THAT IS DOWN.

Look for more and more "populist" movements in every nation on the
globe.

Witness the Ukraine today! And the "Deaniacs" in the US in 2004!

Furthermore, much of Euroland has thrown off the insane imperial
delusions of the American Elites; and Euroland is now seeking
a "third way." Seperate from American political and economic input.

And, China and Japan are starting to realize the folly of buying ever
more dollars.....,even as Dubya touts MORE FEDERAL SPENDING, MORE WAR
OUTLAYS;

AND GREENSPAN, WALL STREETS SHILL, SPEWS DOLLARS INTO THE GLOBAL
ECONOMY SEEMINGLY WITHOUT LIMITS.

ALAS, GENTLE REAKER, WHAT FOLLOWS ANY TRIUMPH, IS DECLINE!

AND COLLAPSE! AND INSTABILITY! AND PERHAPS RESORT TO A NEW FACISM!
AND OTHER POPULIST IDEALOGIES!

WHAT WE ARE SEEING IS NOTHING LESS THAN THE COLLAPSE OF THE GLOBAL
ELITE!

AND, THE RISE OF A NEW GLOBAL POPULISM... WHETHER THIS NEW POPULISM
WILL BE IN THE FORM OF NEW RIGHT-WING FASCISM AND TRIBALISM;

OR, HOPEFULLY, JUST A TURNING AWAY FROM CURRENT TOXIC GLOBALISM;

AND TOWARD SOME KIND OF ECONOMIC LOCALISM, AND SOCIALIZATION OF
RISKS.....PERHAPS, A EURO-STYLE SOCIALISM--

IS AS YET UNKOWN.

NO MATTER. WHAT WE ARE SEEING IS THE DECLINE OF THE ELITES.

AND THE RISE OF SOMETHING NEW.......What will that will be? Stay

OUR ECONOMIC KOAN

Why does over-production lead to scarcity?

That is the Economic Koan of our times!

In Zen Buddhism a Koan is a "Word Puzzle" given to novices by their Zen Masters. The novice is supposed to "solve" the puzzle. The only problem is that the puzzle is usually unsolvable through the normal use of words and language.

This is Zen's attempt to get the novice to see that language is useless for knowing ultimate reality and truth. Zen has know this for thousands of years, but in the West we had to wait for Wittgenstein to see that language is really a "game" that constructs a "seperate reality" divorced from what's really "out there."

Amazingly, East is meeting West now, in the US deficit and debt crisis.

As long as China keeps buying the US Bond, China will be growing. If China stops buying the US debt, they will become poor. In short over-production demands more and more consumption....but production always exceeds consumption, so eventually a crash developles.

SO, OVER-PRODUCTION LEADS TO SCARCITY.

Farms burn their crops, while the cities starve.

Factories are idle, while the public is in need of goods.

Apartment buildings are empty, while the homeless sleep on the streets outside of the empty buildings.

And so it goes......

In the 1930's Kenyes solved our economic koan, based on "full employment."

Now, sooner rather than later, a "New Kenyes" will have to solve the puzzle of why overproduction always leads to scarcity. If we can not solve the puzzle of overproduction and under-consumption---we will be right back in a condition of scarcity again!

THAT IS OUR ECONOMIC KOAN WAITING FOR THE MASTER'S EXPLANATION.

Remember the days when Greenspan would "surpirse" the markets with a
half point move in Fed Funds, and NEVER even "telegraph" his
intentions in advance? Hmmm.....that was a while ago!

TODAY, THE FED IS LOCKED INTO BABY-STEPS THAT ARE ANNOUNCED REPEATEDLY AND IN ADVANCE JUST TO AVOID "SHOCKING THE MARKET."

But why the BIG change?

Well, the markets have been dull as day-old dishwater for several
years now. Basically it's been hurry up and wait, and a frantic trip
to nowhere of late.

In our post bubble economy that is probably well advised and expected.

Fortunately, we've had war, elections and politics to distract us
from the dismal HOUSE OF CARDS that Greenspan's Bubblenomic
Economy has morphed into.

WITH THE DOLLAR HANGING FIRE, AND GREENSPAN LOCKED INTO HIS BABY-STEPS QUARTER POINT RATE HIKES FOR---WELL, A LONG LONG TIME TO COME.

THE MARKETS ARE JUST NOT REAL ATTRACTIVE NOW.

I'm amazed that another REIT crash hasn't happen yet. I mean, a 5%
ten year bond will be very competitive vis-a-vis a leveraged REIT IN A DECLINING REAL ESTATE MARKET!

Perhaps you caught Ben Stein on Wall Street Week recently when he
opined that he still "Loves REITS!" My God, REITS are on the EVE OF
DESTRUCTION! Ben Stein should warn us when he's being "humorous," and
keep his self-serving investment advise to himself.

In 2005, I expect the BOND CRASH of last spring to come back; THIS
TIME FOR REAL.

GREENSPAN CAN'T STOP HIMSELF FROM RAISING RATES NOW;
BECAUSE THE DOLLAR IS JUST TOO WEAK. EVEN THE RUSSIANS ARE DUMPING THE DOLLAR NOW!

I sense most Americans will approach the second Bush term with fear
and loathing! But, as Karl Rove might say: "It's a good thing."

The economy is running on empty.

At least those parts of the economy that are not: FRIENDS OF
GREENSPAN.

I look for Christmas shopping to be way off this year.

Of course, there will be the usual breathless reports and rosy
predictions; and yes Virginia, the "malls will be packed" after
Thanksgiving; even though no one goes to malls anymore. But
whatever. Hey, it's the news cycle. The News and The Truth
have "disconnected" in America these days.

The tax cuts for the rich are going into the bank, not into Main
Street.

This year the rich go shopping and everyone else goes to church. But
at least we have Jesus and his messanger on earth, Dubya.

What small tax relief Bubba did get, he's already spent and then some.

Was it all worth ballooning the twin deficits. Politically yes, for
Dubya. Economically no for everyone else.

Anyway;

THE DOLLAR BUBBLE AND THE TRADE DEFICIT ARE JUST BEING IGNORED NOW,
BECAUSE THERE IS NO REAL SOLUTION.

SURE, GREENSPAN CAN COLLAPSE THE DOLLAR, SO AMERICANS WILL QUIT
BUYING CHINESE GOODS.

BUT, WHAT'S LEFT TO BUY WHEN YOU TAKE ALL THE "MADE IN CHINA" STUFF

week or two---as it rots away!

BOY, THAT WOULD CURE ME!

I''ve suggested that we LET BUBBA FEEL THE LASH OF REPUBLICAN
COMPASSION. And, that's almost as bad a having a dead chicken tied
around your neck.

Amazingly, the "red states" are the LEAST LIKELY TARGETS for
terrorism, but they seem to "fear" it most! I mean New York,
California and DC didn't "go for" Bush! And they the most likely to
be "hit."

Yet, the red states are more likely to have kids--The Children of the
Corn--dying in the hostile sands of Araby; to keep the blue state
ingrates "safe!"

What to say about that? Ahhh,...".thank you?" I suppose........

ANYWAY, BUBBA HAS DUBYA TIED AROUND HIS NECK FOR THE NEXT FOR YEARS!

News that an irate hunter started "hunting" his fellow hunters is
well,....not surprising really. I mean at least Al Gore didn't try to

The BIG BASKET BRAWL GAME in Detroit is in the news. But geez....what
do you expect in the city where stopping for red lights is considered
to be "optional!"

4. FLUFF NEWS FIASCO LOOMS!

Now that Scott is convicted. And Arafat is dead. What will the
broadcast network's FLUFF NEWS SHOWS talk about? CERTAINLY NOT IRAQ OR THE ECONOMY! THAT IS FORBIDDEN FRUIT ACCORDING TO OUR NEW PUPPET MASTERS OF THEMEDIA!

Hmmm......perhaps another Michael Jackson special? Well, there
always room for a celebrity interview and a breast cancer segment by
the anorexic hosts and news readers.

NO WONDER THE AMERICAN BUBBA VOTER IS SO CLUELESS!

But, if you keep their Bubba-minds "almost blank," or dazed with
"Jesus Talk," it's so much easier to tell them what they should
believe--after Rove and Cheney figure out what that, in fact, is this

5. IS RELIGION A MENTAL ILLNESS?

I accidently left the TV on one of those "independant channels"
recently and was amazed by some "religious programing" that came on.
It was so bizzaro that I just couldn't trun it off.

This guy was quoting the Bible in rapid fire manner while saying that
the Russians have lost track of their nuclear materials, and that a
terrorist bombing was inevitable.....then he rejoiced because this
attack meant that Jesus was coming back soon..........more Bible
quotes.

Meanwhile, his female companion was cooing orgasmically: "O Jesus! O
Jesus!"

I was shocked! These people really are nuts! This isn't about
"tolerance" or "religious freedom." These people are truly mentally
ill! They need help.....I don't mind a little "religious talk" at
weddings and funerals. Then everyone goes home and forgets about
it.....but these Jesus Freaks are engaging in direct "conversation"
with delusions and fantasies! These people are as dangerous as the
Islamic Nutcases!

Should "delusional religion" or "excessive religiousity" be classified
as a mental illness? I say yes, these people are potentially
dangerous to themselves and society as a whole!

G-20 OKs DOLLAR PLUNGE!

While Dubya was trying to find some friends in Latin America, the G20
meeting on the dollar was near collaspe!

It is reported that the Euro could now go to 150 for the dollar!

Americans are slowly becoming A GLOBAL PAUPER CLASS because of the
weak dollar!

Frankly, I don't know why anyone would hold the dollar now. Even
Greenspan admitted as much in Germany on Friday: IF YOU'RE NOT HEDGED
FOR A DOLLAR DECLINE, YOU MUST WANT TO LOSE MONEY.

Probably the best investment anyone could make at this time is a bet
against the dollar!

Hmmm......I wonder if I could pay my electric bill in Euros?
Nah....well at least the dollar does have one natural constituency
left! THE AMERICANS!

BUT CHINA, JAPAN, EUROLAND AND ALL OF ARABY COULD BE BETTING AGAINST
THE DOLLAR NOW!

GREENSPAN AND THE G-20 HAVE SPOKEN!

REPUBLICANS: RUNNIN' ON FUMES!!

Amazingly, I think Tom Delay has given the Democrats some good advice!

Democrats should assume the missionary position, and get used to it!

But, does that mean that the Democratic Party should continue as "Republican-Lite?" Definitely not! It was Kerry's attempt to be "meaner" than Bush that defeated him in CERTAIN KEY STATES.

States like Ohio and Florida were winnable. And, this triumphalism of Delay and other Republicans will come back to haunt them SOONER THAN THEY THINK.

And, the pundit driven drivel about Inter-Generational Dominance of Republicans is just pure nonsense!

THE REPUBLICAN DOMINATION OF GOVERNMENT WILL BE VERY LUCKY TO SURVIVE THE 2006 ELECTIONS!

BUT, WHAT SHOULD DEMOCRATS DO NOW?

FIRST, DON'T STOP BEING DEMOCRATS! PLEASE!

SECOND, FORGET ABOUT THE DEEP SOUTH, WHERE POLITICS AND RACE ARE TOO CONNECTED.

THIRD, MIX IN A LITTLE HYMN SINGING WITH THE SOCIAL JUSTICE MESSAGE.....JUST A LITTLE.

WE AGNOSTICS ARE BIG ENOUGH TO TAKE IT. In fact, some of us agnostics are really pan-religionists! We can "hold court" on the world's religions with the best of them......we, or at least I, won't be put off by a little more religiousity in the party. Ok?

LAST, DEMOCRATS SHOULD ASSUME THE MISSIONARY POSITION ON THIS "RED STATE-BLUE STATE" ISSUE.

Here's my plan:

EVERY BLUE STATE SHOULD "ADOPT" A NEIGBORING RED STATE.

For example, Michigan can adopt Ohio. Illinois can adopt Indiana. California should sent "missionaries" to Nevada and Arizona. Colorado is not a lost cause; Colorado could be the catylst for "more blue" in the intermountain west.

Democrats should forget about the Mormon Empire in Utah and Idaho; and the Slave States of the Deep South like Alabama, Mississippi and Georgia--these states are lost causes for Democrats for the immediate future. Texas is also beyond redemption for a number of reasons.

There is no good reason why Kerry should have lost in Ohio. And, Florida was very doable. Those intermoutain and plains states that have at least one high ranking Democratic official should be targeted by DEMOCRATIC MISSIONARIES.

AMAZINGLY, THE DEMOCRATIC MESSAGE IS NOT A HARD SELL IN MOST RED STATES!

Most red states are net recievers of Federal Tax dollars---most blue states are net contributors to the Federal fisc. If these red states are so dependant on the in-flow of Federal Monies, how can they be in the "starve the beast" camp of the Republican Party!

IT'S "THE FEDERAL BEAST" THAT FEEDS THESE RED STATES! to wit: THE BLUE STATES!

ALSO, THE SOCIAL JUSTICE ISSUES MUST BE RE-PACKAGED BY DEMOCRATS, SO IT'S NEVER JUST "GOD, GUNS AND GAYS" PLUS ABORTION!

MAKE IT SOCIAL SECURITY, HEALTH CARE AND JOBS! Is that really so hard to do?

This can be done with hymn singing, through the local churches.

Or at the school board and city council level.

In short, there is no rational reason why BUBBA AND WALL STREET should in on the same political page! NONE!

DEMOCRATS NEED TO START SENDING MISSIONARIES FROM THE BLUE STATES INTO THE NEIGHBORING RED STATES IMMEDIATELY.

THESE RED STATE PEOPLE ARE "NATURAL DEMOCRATS," IF ONLY SOMEONE WOULD EXPLAIN IT TO THEM...

Additionally, Democrats will be aided by the "second term "curse that afflicts most presidents. The Dubya Wars will likely lead to such total chaos in the world, that even the "red" folks will be ready for a change by 2006.

THERE IS NO REASON FOR GLOOM AMONG THE DEMOCRATS!

YET TOM DELAY IS RIGHT. DEMOCRATS NEED TO ASSUME THE MISSIONARY POSITION WITH RESPECT TO SOME "RED STATES"

---AND JUST WRITE OFF THE OTHERS!

THE LAST THING DEMOCRATS NEED IS SOMEONE WHO WILL BE: "ACCEPTABLE" IN ALABAMA! OR MISSISSSIPPI! OR UTAH!

FORGET ABOUT THOSE STATES! THEY WILL DESTROY THE DEMOCRATIC BASE. JUST LIKE THEY DID IN OHIO AND INDIANA THIS YEAR!

In a way, Kerry's attempt to be "acceptable" in the redest of the red states is what got him into trouble! Kerry sold his soul to the deep south, and got nearly nothing for his trouble.

If this election taught us anything, it's that it's better to be Strong and Wrong; Than a vacillating over thinking egg-head!

Can a northern liberal win nationally? Yes, but never in the deep south or the Mormon West. Yet, there are still plenty of states that Democrats can compete in; in the plains! in the intermoutain, non-Mormon West! In the middle south!

And, the middle west is really the THIRD COAST! The potential of the THIRD COAST COALITION for Democrats is huge.

But, they have to start the "ground game" for 2006 RIGHT NOW!

Delay's triuphalism will be very short lived. There are numerous disasters looming in the wings; The dollar! The deficits! The bond market! China's roll in the world! And, of course, the Iraq debalcle.

And, last but not least Osama. What's he up to?

IN FACT I WOULD SAY SOMETHING UNEXPECTED HERE, I THINK: THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS "RUNNIN' ON FUMES!"

the bond? The big bond crash of last April turned out to be another

Clearly the HYPER-LIQUIDITY TRUMPED THE THREAT OF HIGHER RATES FROMTHE FED, OR FOREIGNER BOND HOLDERS.

I understand that Greenspan will do anything to keep his Bubble
Buddies on Wall Street happy. But, what about foreigners? Well, mostof them are seriously dependent on the AMERICAN CONSUMER to keep theirexport economies growing! So, they to have no desire to see the USbond go to a "reasonable level" or to see the dollar cause a recessionin the US.

SO, THE REAL QUESTION IS: WHAT IF GREENSPAN KEEPS RASIING RATES ANDTHE BANK OF CHINA KEEPS BUYING US BONDS?

CHINA GIVES BACK, WHAT GREENSPAN IS TRYING TO TAKE AWAY! ULTRA-LOWRATES!

A CYNIC MIGHT QUESTION: DOES THE BANK OF CHINA RUN THE US MONETARYPOLICY, OR DOES THE FEDERAL RESERVE!

Guess what? I think that the Bank of China has more power now than
the Federal Reserve in determining US domestic monetary policy! But,
shhhh......,it's supposed to be a secret......

IN SHORT, WHEN THE LAST COMMIE ECONOMY IN THE WORLD DECIDEDS TO"DESTROY" THE BIGGEST CAPITALIST ECONOMY IN THE WORLD, THEY CAN DO IT!

companies like Google, could make some people thing that the US
markets have become "evil." Whose making money? Not the people,
a/k/a "suckers" who buy stock, rather those who sell stock! Indeed
the only way to "make real money" in the market is to be a SELLER NOTA BUYER!

THE SELLER GETS REAL CASH!

THE BUYER GETS A PIECE OF PAPER THAT RESEMBLES A LOTTERY TICKET INMORE WAYS THAN ONE!

My hunch is that the hayday of the market is over. It's probably time
for a BIG WAR. Ya think? Sort of like the 1920's morphing into the

News that only a small number of Boomers have $50,000 in liquid assetsis distressing. Especially since Dubya is Hell Bend on abolishing

Public one has to wonder if THE COUNTY POOR FARMS are not due to comeback?

that breaks the camel's back?

Unfortunately for the dollar, Dubya was STUPIDLY RE-ELECTED.

Because a NEW WHITE HOUSE TEAM IN JANUARY would have been hugely
reassuring to all those nice foreigners, who are required to "buy our
debt," to keep THEIR, AND OUR ECONOMIES, "AFLOAT" ON GREENSPAN'S SEA
OF GREENBACKS!

And, the US is "double dog broke" on entitlements like Social
Security Medicare and Medicaid. But many of "the rich" are treating
these entitlements as optional "gifts" to an otherwise undeserving
citizenry.

Nothing could be further from the truth. MANY PEOPLE RELY TOTALLY ON
SOCIAL SECURITY AND MEDICARE FOR THEIR VERY SURVIVAL!

THIS ISN'T LIKE SOME MILLIONIARE DECIDING WHETHER TO GO TO PARIS OR
CANCUN FOR THE WEEKEND!

PEOPLE WILL LITERALLY DIE OR STARVE WITHOUT THESE "ENTITLEMENTS!"

Can we really have grannys sitting out in the cold on park benches?
And, if most people had known that the entitlements won't be there
for them, THEY PROBABLY WOULD HAVE HAD MORE KIDS!

BECAUSE, IN THE 19TH CENTURY, HAVING SIX OR SEVEN KIDS, WHO
SURVIVED, WAS THE ONLY REAL "SOCIAL SECURITY" BACK THEN!

AND THE ALTERNATIVE? THE DREADED "COUNTY POOR FARM!"

Additionally, do we really want a bunch of "senior citizens" in the
workforce? Remember when Bismark "invented retirement pensions" it
was to GET THE OLD PEOPLE OUT OF THE JOB MARKET SO THE YOUNGER ONES
COULD MOVE IN AND SUPPORT THEIR NEW FAMILIES.

IF YOU THINK OLD AGE RETIREMENT IS "EXPENSIVE" JUST WAIT TILL
EVERYONE, YOUNG AND OLD, ARE SCRABBLING FOR THOSE MINIMUM WAGE JOBS!

IT WON'T BE PRETTY!

What is to be done? Well, a lot of things. But saddly, the new
Kongress is deliberately ignoring the real issues.

FIRST, THE US DESPERATELY NEEDS A SINGLE PAYER NATIONAL HEALTH CARE
PLAN THAT COVERS EVERYONE. AND NOW! NOT LATER. PLEASE NOTE THAT
THE "REST OF THE WORLD" HAS HAD THIS PLAN FOR DECADES! ONLY THE US,
AND SOME SUB-SAHARAN AFRICIAN NATIONS DON'T!

SO, IT'S A LIE TO SAY WE ARE CLUELESS HOW TO DO IT! JUST PICK A
PLAN! CANADA? ENGLAND? AUSTRALIA? FRANCE? GERMAN? EVERYONE HAS
THIS EXCEPT THE US! AND, THAT'S WHY WE ARE SO "UNCOMPETITIVE" IN THE
GLOBAL JOB MARKET.

IF THE RICH FEAR RATIONING? ALLOW FOR THEM TO BUY MEDICAL SERVICES

WITH ONLY A TINY DECREASE IN DEFENSE SPENDING, AND A ROLL BACK OF
DUBYA'S TAX CUTS FOR THE RICH, WE COULD EASILY FUND NATIONAL HEALTH
CARE FOR ALL AMERICANS.

ONCE THE HEALTH CARE ISSUE IS SOLVED, THE TRADE DEFICIT WILL START TO
DECREASE...AS US INDUSTRY IS NO LONGER FORCED TO "FLEE AMERICA" TO
FIND EMPLOYEE HEALTH INSURANCE "OFF SHORE!"

YES, I KNOW....WHAT ABOUT THE "SPECIAL INTERESTS!" WELL, THAT IS
REALLY THE WHOLE PROBLEM, ISN'T IT! ALONG WITH THE INCREIBLE
STUPIDITY OF THE AMERICAN PUBLIC!

Hmmm....maybe Americans are just a hopeless case after all, and
intelligent and rational people should simply start looking to
emigrate out the US to more sensible parts of the world....like
Euroland? Australia? Singapore? Even some Latin American countries.

The merger of Sears and KMart was not made in heaven. But, ALMOST!

The merger seems to have come from the Geriatric Floor of the ICU!

These two companies aren't really merging; they're being "embalmed"
to preserve them for "whatever comes next."

The closest thing to it was the AOL rape of TimeWarner back during

There, AOL, a company on the ropes, had the foresight to hook up with
a company that was "geriatric," but at least had some hard assets,
brands, and goodwill. Think, gigolo and dowager here.

Kmart and Sears will now have the opportunity to combine their two
failing business plans, to figure out what comes next. But, since
Walmart is eating their lunch, I suggest doing the figuring over
dinner!

Alas, this kills my hope that Amazon would buy Kmart and combine
BRICKS AND CLICKS in THE NEW NEXT BIG THING!

But wait, something tells me that we are not done with Sears/Kmart
yet. Maybe Yahoo could buy the "remains" in a few years and find the

Frankly, it's been years since I've really "shopped" at either Sears
or KMart. True, I might do a "walk through" once or twice a year.

In short, Bubba may have lost his job in the Bush years, but
he "saved his marriage" by going to chruch! Oh my God! That's it in
a nutshell!

The most reliable Democrat is the suburban woman with multiple
universtiy degrees!

The most reliable Republican is a rural uneducated male who attends
church or owns a gun!

THIS IS A CLASS STURGGLE THAT MARX NEVER ANTICIPATED!

IT'S A TITANIC BATTLE BETWEEN THE STUPID AND THE INTELLIGENT! And,
naturally since there are always going to be more stupid people than
intelligent ones...the Democrats have a problem! I mean this isn't
Lake Wobegon! Where EVERYONE is above average.

THE DEMOCRATS HAVE TO "BUBBAIZE" THE PARTY! THE DEMOCRATS SIMPLY

Somehow abortion and gay marriage are going to have to be
put on the back burner for a while. BLACKS AND GAYS HAVE BEEN KIND

simply have to exploit the ECONOMIC CLASS ISSUES like flys on the

And don't worry about Wall Street And Greenspan. They will screw up
right on schedule....just like always. The problem in 2004 was
partly that Greenspan's HYPER-LIQUIDTY FALLACY had somehow managed to
fly under the radar of the bond market.

THAT WILL CHANGE IN THE COMING YEARS. And, indeed, there is already
SERIOUS trouble in the currency markets and among foreign holders of
the MASSIVE US DEBT! China and Japan could decide to nuke our bond
market in the next four years.

THE UNHOLY LOVE OF THE DOLLAR BY CHINA AND JAPAN IS NOT LOVE OF
AMERICA, BUT RATHER AN ATTEMPT TO KEEP THERE OWN EXPORT DRIVEN
ECONOMIES AFLOAT. INDEED, CHINA MIGHT ACTUALLY HATE AMERICA FOR ALL
WE KNOW, BUT STILL HAVE OVER-BOUGHT THE DOLLAR FOR THEIR OWN POLICIAL

economy. Everyone thought that it would go off, during Dubya's first

But likely this kind of luck won't hold through a second Dubya

The joint US-Israeli attempt to abolish the Palestinian Authority is
finally competed with the death of Arafat.

The only organization capable of "governing" in the West Bank and
Gaza is Hamas.

The entire problem comes from not recognizing that Israel fully
intends to annex the West Bank. ASAP.

My wish would be that SHARON DOES THIS ANNEXATION QUICKLY!

BUSINESS COULD BE VERY VERY UNSTABLE FOR THE REPUBLICAN PARTY!

Evangelicals want "marriage" between a man and a woman.

OK, let them win in the symantics of this issue! SO WHAT!

And, Militant Gays have only themselves to blame for the current
backlash that is stopping EVEN CIVIL UNIONS NOW!

In truth, "civil unions" are more in line with the "realitiy" of the
situation.

I mean, do two guys really, really need to be "married," as opposed
to just "civilly united" by law? Is it worth it?

IS THAT SYMANTIC FIGHT WORTH HAVING?

EVEN AS WALL STREET LOOTS THE ECONOMY, AND TRASHES OUR SOCIAL SAFETY

REAL ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL ISSUES FACING AMERICANS TODAY!

AND EVANGELICALS ARE NOT PART OF THE REPUBLICAN WALL STREET "LOOT,
POLLUTE AND SCOOT" CROWD!

AMAZINGLY, DEMOCRATS COULD ALLY WITH EVANGELICALS ON MANY SOCIAL

religion" very convincingly. AND THAT'S TRUE!

BUT, THERE IS AN ANSWER TO THAT LITTLE PROBLEM!

DON'T TRY TO DO RELIGION!

BUT DO ENGAGE THE EVANGELICALS ON OTHER SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC ISSUES;

EVANGELICALS COULD BE THE BEST FRIENDS DEMOCRATS EVER HAD ON:

THE ENVIRONMENT. THE BUSH WARS. SOCIAL SECURITY. HEALTH CARE.
MINIMUM WAGE. PRESCRIPTION DRUGS FOR SENIORS. HOMELESSNESS AND THE
SOCIAL SAFETY NET.

EVANGELICALS ARE NOT REALLY THAT "INTOLERANT." THEY DON'T WANT TO
START LYNCHING BLACKS AND GAYS.

ALL THEY WANT IS A LITTLE RESPECT!

AND SADDLY, WE IN THE LIBERAL-AGNOSTIC WING OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY
HAVE DENIED THEM THAT RESPECT....AND NOW WE HAVE PAID A DEAR PRICE

I CAN ENCOURAGE THEM TO EXPRESS THEIR COMPASSION FOR HUMANITY,
WITHOUT BEING "COACHED" BY THE WALL STREET GREEDMONGERS.

I CAN QUIT CALLING THEM "HICKS" "IGNORANT" "DUMB" "NEO-
NAZIS" "BUBBAS" "RED NECKS" "JESUS FREAKS" "GUN NUTS" ETC. ETC.

I CAN QUIT LAUGHING AT THEM....AND PROUDLY ACTING "UNHOLIER THAN
THOU."

AND JUST MAYBE THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY CAN TOO!!

DEMOCRATS HAVE MORE "IN COMMON" WITH MOST EVANGELICALS THAN THEY

FALLUJHA: WRONG WAR GAME!

As American Forces bomb their way into the center of Fallujha any
outside observer might say: So What?

It seems that Dubya, Rummy and their puppet, Chuckie Allawi are
treating Fallujha and indeed, most of Iraq was some kind of WAR GAME!

Essentially, it works like this, the US bombs and shells their way
into a certain part of a city, usually the center. A certain
building is "taken," almost like "taking the flag" in a war game, and
victory is declared.

The Iraqi population doesn't support the US, nor do the
seeming "quislings" in the "Iraq Army." Indeed, some of
these "quislings" brag that they are just taking the Americans
Money! But they support the insurgents!

THE FACT IS THAT AMERICA HAS TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY LOST THE "HEARTS
AND MINDS" OF THE IRAQI PEOPLE.

Of course a cynic might say that it never was about hearts and minds;
it was always about the bankrupt Sharonist/Likud policy that:

"If only we can kill enough of them, they will stop fighting us!"

WELL, GOOD LUCK. BUT FRANKLY, I DON'T SEE THAT HAPPENING ANYTIME
SOON IN IRAQ, OR ON THE WEST BANK.

THERE IS A VERY REAL INABILITY IN THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION AND THE

PROBLEMS AMERICA FACES RIGHT NOW.

2. THE COLLAPSING DOLLAR is the most serious economic problem facing
the global economy. If the dollar falls, oil will rise, no matter
how much oil is being pumped. The dollar and oil are really joined
at the hip; a weak dollar means high oil prices, and a strong dollar
means cheap oil. It's not production, It's not China. It's the
weak dollar that dooms us to high gas prices. Get used to it.

3. THE HEALTH CARE DEBACLE: Health care more than any other factor
is the reason for poor job growth in the US. Companies simply can't
afford to hire with insurance costs so high.

And, unfortunately, Dubya's "cure" of TAX CREDITS does nothing to
solve the problem. A tax credit is merely a transfer of money from
the public fisc to the GREAT WHITE SHARK OF HEALTH CARE GREED!

Dubya's plan would encourage more greed and fraud, while taking
massive amounts of money out of the federal budget at the worst
possible time.

4. THE BOND COLLAPSE: See the dollar collapse and extrapolate.

5. SOCIAL SECURITY REFORM: NOW! LOL! Oh, Please........!

6. DEMOCRATS: GO LEFT YOUNG MAN! So, should the
democrats "repent" and start gay bashing and putting everything in

They were mostly "nice" little men, good Germans all, who did their

FASCISM IS REALLY THE RESULT OF FAILED ELITES TRYING TO DIVERT THE

4. MILITARISM:

Another trait that Nazis and the New Religious Right in America have
in common is Militarism. The so-called War on Terror is really just
the vehicle for the New Militarism in America. When a nation is
failing, as America is now, there is often at attempt to re-claim old
glories, and to lash out at the "evil" world that mis-understands us.

Ms. Dowd suggested that Dubya might decide, with the help of Jesus,
that it's time for the US to invade France! That was supposed to be
a joke, but wait. In the for-us-or-against-us world of the NEW
AMERICAN FASCISTS it could happen!

5. KONCENTRATION KAMP KULTURE:

If, God forbid, there is another terror attack in America; very
likely there will be a move to have Muslims either expelled
or "encamped for security reasons" to prevent further attacks.

Arab and Muslim businesses will be required to "identify themselves,"
by having a crecent in the window, "for security purposes," but also
so the New American Brownshirts will know where to go during the
coming AMERICAN CRYSTAL NIGHTS!

I would also expect that Arabs and Muslims would have to
wear "visible identification," in the form of a "crecent badge," or
some other mark, on their clothing to identify them, "for security
purposes."

Frankly, If I were a Muslim or Arab in America today? I would be
raising cash in the form of Gold and Euros. And selling everything I
had that couldn't be hidden. And, most of all be prepared to LEAVE
AMERICA. ASAP!

After all, aren't all American Muslims one "News Bulletin" away from
being forced out by the New American Right?

CONCLUSION:

THE DEFICITS, AND THERE ARE TOO MANY TO EVEN MENTION, ARE TOTALLY OUT
OF CONTROL.

THE GREED OF THE ELITES IS PART OF THE PROBLEM.

THE INSANE BUBBLEMANIA OF MR GREENSPAN IS PART OF THE PROBLEM.

THE TRIUMPH OF WALL STREET AND THE WEALTHY ELITES HAS NEARLY RUN
IT'S COURSE.

SO, NOW IT'S TIME FOR A LITTLE MILITARISM AND FASCISM! In the great
sweep of history this follows like night follows day.

That, gentle reader, is exactly what we saw in this election.

And, sadly what we will see all too much of during the next four

The liberals had a Chinaman's Chance of averting the coming disaster,

Somehow the Republicans and Wall Streeters interviewed after their
complete take over of the government yesterday, didn't seem, well,
HAPPY ENOUGH!

SUDDENLY, SOME SEEM TO REALIZE: WHAT HATH GOD'S MESSENGER WROUGHT!

It was one thing to fight with Democrats about cutting social
security, knowing that the MOMMY PARTY would always stop you before
any real harm was done. But now it's different.

THE DEMOCRATS ARE EXTINCT. ALL THAT'S LEFT IS BUBBA AND WALL STREET.

Hmmm....Bubba and Wall Street? Odd bedfellows even without a gay
marriage ban!

Consider:

BUBBA WANTS A JESUS ORIENTED GOVERNMENT, WHATEVER THAT IS.

BUT BUBBA ALSO WANTS HIS SOCIAL SECURITY SSI DISABILITY CHECK TO
ARRIVE ON TIME! Remember, the Bible Belt is also know as the
Disability Belt!

Republicans want to cut Social Security benefits for seniors in, say,
Florida. And, now they can do it totally without Democrat approval!

ALL REPUBLICANS HAVE TO DO IS TELL GRANDMA HOW SHE CAN LIVE ON $300
PER MONTH!

Perhaps the Miracle of the Loaves and the Fishes? I mean we do have
the luxury of having GOD'S MESSENGER ON EARTH IN THE WHITE HOUSE FOR
FOUR MORE YEARS! It's a good thing.

Of course, God's Messenger will have the job of telling Bubbas all
over the nation why the minimum wage can't go up. And, why jobs
going off-shore is "healthy." And, why health insurance is now only
for the elites, not the Jesus-loving masses. And, on and on.....

IT'S YOUR BABY, WALL STREET! WHY THE SOUR LEMON LOOKS?

AND THEN THERE'S THE ONCE AND FUTURE WARS! AND, OH YEAH, THE LITTLE

Well, at least Bubba's son and daughter can JOIN THE ARMY instead of
working at Bugger King for six bucks and hour, and getting drunk in
