Well, you never know! As a precaution I have set up this blog site to "mirror" the Gloom and Doom Postings at Yahoo.

REPUBLICAN STEW! PASS OUT THE BARF BAGS!
The Republicans seem to be stewing in their own juice these days.
Consider;
The way to make REPUBLICAN STEW seems to be:
Add equal parts of GREED, FEAR AND HATE.
Smear on a large tablespoon of LIES.....and then let simmer for four
years, or until done.
Season to taste depending on which part of the country you live in!
Yesterday's performance at The Garden seemed, well, kinda sad.....
IT WAS, SORT OF, ALL EVIL, ALL WAR, ALL THE TIME.
The lastest nuance for dealing with Muslims seems to be: Kill More of
Them!
Indeed, listening to Mc Cain yesterday, and David Brooks in the
NYT on Sunday,........you'd think that official US policy for the
next four years is:
The only good Muslim is a dead Muslim!
Still, there must be a better way! For example, why not "hire"
teachers for Muslim Madrassas, who are "moderates." You know
kinda "endow a teacher" for Muslim Youth Education.
Why not PUBLISH MODERATE MUSLIM WRITERS, in the Middle East, IN
ARABIC OR THE NATIVE LANGUAGE. AND THEN LET MADISION AVE. ADVERTISE
THEM AS THE NEW "BEST SELLERS."
The point is;
THE WAY TO WIN MUSLIM HEARTS AND MINDS IS NOT WITH THE POINT OF A
BAYONETTE, OR WITH A 1000 POUND BOMB! That is a non-starter.
Worse yet, the US is filling up with Muslim Immigrants now!
And, these new Muslim Americans are really taking over in the area
SMALL BUSINESS. Convenience Stores, Gas Stations, Small Bakeries,
and all of the still existing Mom and Pop stores and shops really!
Where are the American Shopkeepers? Probably out looking for a job!
WITH BENEFITS!
And, these New Muslims are going to be necessary to provide the
Needed Workers; that American's "liberated' women forgot to have
during their prime child bearing years!
Yes, the birth dearth problem looms large.
AND, MC CAIN'S ONWARD CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS SPEECH WAS JUST OVER THE TOP
YESTERDAY.
But I consider McCain to be one of the most OVER-RATED Politicans in
the US these days. I mean if your really look at his so
called "policies;" he's just another dull "blue shirt and tie" on the
tube.
And alas, the fact that Kerry will probably be mentioned more times
than Dubya at the Republican Convention tells you a lot.
NAMELY, THAT DUBYA HAS NO RECORD TO RUN ON!
AND HIS ONLY HOPE IS TO TRASH KERRY AT EVERY POINT;
KERRY SAID AMERICANS COMMITTED ATROCITIES IN VIETNAM! KERRY OPPOSED
THE VIETNAM WAR!

Does Dubya now hold that the Iraq Prison Abuse Scandel of late,
DIDN'T HAPPEN EITHER?
WELL, WHY NOT!

All the Republican Delegates seem to have these wan and sickly smiles
frozen on their faces, which, of course, goes well with their "Blue

It looks like the Republican Convention is going to be: ALL 911, ALL
THE TIME!
ARE WE READY FOR THIS?
The constant reliving of the WTC tragedy seems to be Dubya's only
ticket to a second disasterous term in office.
I'd call it his: "DOOMSDAY TERM."
Consider:
THE ENTIRE REPUBLICAN VISION-THING FOR THE FUTURE IS ONE OF TERROR
AND FIGHTING, EVIL AND ENEMIES, SMART BOMBING FOR PEACE, AND
MORE PREEMPTIVE WAR.
CLEARLY A SECOND BUSH TERM WILL BRING EVEN MORE WARS!
PROBABLY STARTING WITH IRAN AND SYRIA.
AND, THE LIKELIHOOD THAT PAKISTAN WILL BECOME SOMEHOW "DE-STABILZED"

Wouldn't it be better to have some organization behind these

ADVICE TO KRUGMAN: WHY LIBERALS LOSE
If I could give Paul Krugman, and other "liberals," some advice it
would be only one word: PRONOUNS! It's really all about PRONOUNS!
Consider:
Liberals and intellectuals are the ultimate "We-thinkers," and
conservatives and the less intelligent are really "Me-thinkers."
What liberals don't realize is that "we-thinking" is a luxury that
only a few can afford; everyone else is worried about, WHAT'S IN IT
FOR ME!
Now, if you believe that all of this conservative "me thinking" will
benefit society through the infamous "invisible hand" which raises
all boats; fine.
But unfortunately, in our complex modern economy, Me-Thinking more
often leads to a crisis.
ONLY WHEN A MAJOR CRISIS OCCURS DO THE "ME THINKERS" SEE THE BENEFITS
OF LIBERAL "WE THINKING."
The rich eventually saw the "benefits" of FDR's Social Security, for
example. Although now they want to abolish it. again!
Understood?
What liberals don't see is that logic and reason and "good policy"
have NOTHING at all to do with it.

ME THINKING IS AS RAMPANT IN THE SUBURBS AS IN THE INTER-CITY

IF WE ARE A AVOID A COMPLETE RELAPSE INTO PROTECTIONISM, AND WORLD

THE WALMART INDICTAOR
I like Walmart.
As an economic indicator; not as a place to shop.
(My personal opinion about Walmart is irrelevant, but as a clue to my
thinking, I will tell you that the word "evil" frequently comes to
mind.)
But really;
WALMART IS THE ULTIMATE ECONOMIC INDICATOR. Why? Well, perhaps
because of it's huge size, and it's strategic location inside the US
economy.
Indeed, I would combine Walmart and Micky D's and a couple of other
companies into a: MAIN STREET CONSUMPTION INDEX.
BECAUSE, WALMART IS WHERE ECONOMIC REALITY MEETS ECONOMIC THEORY,
EVERYDAY.
All in real time, as soon as the doors are open, (if they are ever
closed these days)!
The US economy is mostly consumer spending, and most of this spending
is in $5 and $10 increments. Small is beautiful in the American
economy.
Of course some like to follow the CAPEX of Big Corporations....that's
fine for a while, but sooner or later it all comes down to the small
consumer on Main Street. Doesn't it?
MY HUNCH IS THAT BETWEEN JOBS, HIGH DEBT, REFIS, AND HIGHER GAS
PRICES, THE CONSUMER IS VERY, VERY WORRIED NOWADAYS.
BUT, WHAT DO I KNOW!
MAYBE JUST KEEP WATCHING THE "WALMART INDICTATOR!"
And perhaps you'll get a better idea of the state of the US economy
than with all of the other high class "data points" combined!

ALL THIS WHILE DUBYA WAS BOOZING IT UP IN THE NATIONAL GUARD STATE-
SIDE!
IT'S REALLY THE SADDEST COMMENTARY ON DUBYA'S DISASTEROUS PRESIDENCY
YET!

I mean there are huge deficits, $50 oil, wars and terrorism, and
the "dissing" of America and Americans all over the globe.

Dubya's "cognitive problems."
And, this absurd notion that Dubya "freed" two countries is just pure
nonsense. In Afganistan and in Iraq, Karzi and Allawi are really
just the "mayors" of "part of Kabul" and the "Green Zone" in Baghdad
respectively!
THERE IS NO CREDIBLE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT IN EITHER IRAQ OR
AFGANISTAN. EVERYONE KNOWS THIS, EVEN (SECRETLY)THE APOLOGISTS FOR
THE ADMINISTRATION.
FEW PEOPLE THINK THAT KARZI OR ALLAWI WOULD SURVIVE FOR A

STAGFLATION WILL END THE BUBBLE MENTALITY
Many pundits are coming to the stagflation scenario now as an
explanation of recent market and economic events.
Of course, it could be just garden variety PLUNGE PROTECTION. Per
usual. Consider:
CLEARLY, THE FED MUST CONTINUE TO RAISE RATES;
But, to do that, an not admit that the last 10 or 20 years have been
a TOTAL fraud, it's necessary for the economy to be seen to prosper
and jobs pick up.
Now, we all know that the jobs are not going to pick up, and that
debt is going to be a big burden going forward;
SO THE ONLY PLACE FOR THE REQUIRED "HAPPY FACE" IS ON WALL STREET.
HENCE, THE HUGE STOCK RALLIES OF LATE;
This kind of market manipulation is not new. It was used all the
time during the bubble to keep the HAPPY FACE in the news and in the

Whereas, Dubya is only "fully explaining" his one very

OIL AND THE TRADE DEFICIT
Ahhh....PLUNGE PROTECTION! Ya gotta love it. The last few days have
been a little surreal in case you haven't noticed.
AS OIL SOARED, SO DID THE DOW! NOW THAT'S SOMETHING YOU DON'T SEE
EVERYDAY.
My hunch is that the secret Fed Plunge Protection Team was at work
here. Oh sure, you hear the yada yada that the market was "oversold"
etc, etc, and there is a little bit of truth to that.
But still, Oil is starting to dictate the terms for the market now,
unlike at any time since the 1970's.
ACTUALLY I BLAME THE TRADE DEFICIT FOR THE RECENT UNPLEASANTNESS WITH
OIL. You do remember the trade deficit? That thing we always ignore?
WITH THE US TRADE DEFICIT NOW "UNOFFICIALLY" TOTALLY OUT OF CONTROL,
THE DOLLAR MUST "IPSO FACTO" BECOME WEAKER. Remember even the G-Man
has admitted this much, right?
BUT A WEAKER DOLLAR ALSO MEANS, IPSO FACTO, MORE EXPENSIVE OIL,
SINCE, ALAS, OIL IS "PRICED IN DOLLARS," REMEMBER? Do the math.
So, while the US media has done wonders to distract and delude us
from the trade deficit;
The market has remembered. And, apparently remembered only too well.

THE "MIRACULOUS" RISE IN OIL RECENTLY WAS CAUSED BY THE US TRADE

is Dubya's Plan "B" through "Z" now! Allawi is going to be

And, yeah, $50 oil will seem like a pleasant dream then. Try $80 Oil

BONJOUR PARESSE, DILBERT?
BONJOUR PARESSE, DILBERT?
The weekend FT reviewed a book that is sweeping France called Bonjour
Paresse, or Hello Laziness! It is supposed to be a French "Dilbert"
for these times of seemingly endless Global Worker Disaffection.
Here are "the rules" according to the book:
1. You are a modern-day slave. There is now scope for personal
fulfilment. You work for a pay-check at the end of the month.
2. It's pointless to try to change the system. Opposing it simply
makes it stronger.
3. You're not judged on merit, but on whether you look and sound the
part. Use lots of jargon: people will suspect you have an inside
track.
4. Never accept a position of resonsibility for any reason. You'll
only have to work harder for what amounts to peanuts.
5. Make a beeline for useless positions where it is impossible to
assess your "contribution to the wealth of the company." Avoid
operational roles like the plague.
6. Once you've found a plum job, never move. It is only the most
exposed who get fired.
7. Identify kindred spirits who also believe the system is absurd,
though discrete signs like quirky clothing, pecurliar jokes, and warm
smiles.
8. Be nice to people on short-term contracts. They are the only
people who do any real work.
9. What you do is pointless. You can be replaced by any cretin
sitting next to you. So work as little as possible and spend time
cultivating you personal network, so that you're untouchable when the
next restructuring comes.
10. Tell yourself that the absurd idealolgy underpinning this
coporate B.S. cannot last forever. It will go the same way as the
dialectical materialism of Communism. The problem is knowing
when.....
THE AMAZING THING IS THAT WITH ALL OF THE SO-CALLED PRODUCTIVITY AND
PROSPERITY OF RECENT YEARS, WORKERS ARE WORKING HARDER THAN EVER, FOR
LESS!
AND WITH LESS AND LESS SECURITY.....
SOMETHING IS WRONG HERE. WHOSE "SKIMMING THE CREAM?"

ANTI-BUSHIES FOR BUSH!
It's no secret that I think Dubya has been an UNMITIGATED DISASTER as president.
On every front; the economy, the geo-political situation, jobs, and fiscal policy; DUBYA HAS BEEN A TOTAL CATASTROPHE!
YET, SOME PEOPLE, MOSTLY RATHER STUPID PEOPLE, DON'T SEE THIS!
Why?
Well, some of them seem to think that voting for Bush is the "white" thing to do.
Not "right thing," rather the "white thing" to do.
That really explains it in a nutshell. Doesn't it.
Well, here's my proposal: LET'S GIVE BUBBA FOUR MORE YEARS OF BUSH!
I have already noted that I don't vote. I didn't vote in 2000 and I'm not going to vote in 2004, and in fact, I may never vote again.
Because, the combination of Wall Street Money, Televangalists, and an incredibly stupid electorate in the US has made voting into a kind of sham. See Krugman's op-ed in the NTY today.
I suggest that American's intelligent and informed voters are so out numbered by "the stupids," that voting is really rather useless and futile.
So perhaps, "we" should follow Lincoln's advise to Sherman during his March to the Sea: IF THE SOUTH WANTS WAR, LET'S GIVE THEM ALL THE WAR THEY CAN HANDLE!
IF BUBBA WANT'S BUSH? LET'S GIVE HIM ALL THE BUSH HE CAN HANDLE!
Clearly, any Kerry first term will be taken up merely UNDOING THE DAMAGE that Dubya & Chums have already done.
But why bother? Let's just let Dubya be Dubya, and Bubba be Bubba and "see what happens." It should be interesting. Ya think?

IT TAKES A VILLAGE, or WE BOMBED YOUR VILLAGE?
The issue of SENSITIVE WAR was front and center this weekend. And,
the difference between Republicans and Democrats could not be greater.
It's really a matter of Hillary's View that: IT TAKES A VILLAGE, or
Dubya's Approach: WE BOMBED YOUR VILLAGE!
That's really it in a nutshell. Isn't it?
Should the GLOBAL VILLAGE be organized around cooperation and
verifiable trust?
Or should confrontation and unilateral conflict be the new norm.
Well, given that Dubya is pulling troops out of Old Europe and Old
Asia now, clearly the confrontational approach is running into some
manpower problems.
Dubya's first official act after winning re-election should be to re-
instate the Draft. Because, Dubya's unilateralist confrontational
approach is going to be labor intensive and expensive.
IF THE US IS GOING TO BE AT WAR WITH THE WORLD DURING THE NEXT FOUR
YEARS, THEN THE BOND MARKET WILL HAVE TO RE-JIGGER INTEREST RATES TO

It's really a matter of Hillary's View that: IT TAKES A VILLAGE, or
Dubya's Approach: WE BOMBED YOUR VILLAGE!
That's really it in a nutshell. Isn't it?
Should the GLOBAL VILLAGE be organized around cooperation and
verifiable trust?
Or should confrontation and unilateral conflict be the new norm.
Well, given that Dubya is pulling troops out of Old Europe and Old
Asia now, clearly the confrontational approach is running into some
manpower problems.
Dubya's first official act after winning re-election should be to re-
instate the Draft. Because, Dubya's unilateralist confrontational
approach is going to be labor intensive and expensive.
IF THE US IS GOING TO BE AT WAR WITH THE WORLD DURING THE NEXT FOUR
YEARS, THEN THE BOND MARKET WILL HAVE TO RE-JIGGER INTEREST RATES TO

CHARLEY BITES! TRADE DOOMSDAY?
The big unreported story of the week was the trade deficit number.
While the Olympics and Charley are dominating the weekend wires,
there could be Hell to Pay on Monday because of that RECORD TRADE
DEFICIT.
Worse yet, it was up nearly 20% from the prior record. Clearly there
is a major STRUCTURAL PROBLEM that has been ignored for years and
that is now kicking in big time.
The problem with the manufacturing and jobs numbers as I see it, is
that there is this hope against hope that THINGS WILL "COME BACK."
But, when the G-Man and Kongress have set up the US economy as A ONE
WAY STREET, with all arrows pointing OUT OF THE US;
HOW CAN ANYTHING COME BACK?
THIS NAIEVE AND EXCESSIVE OPTIMISM ON EVERY LITTLE QUIVER OF THE DATA POINTS IS JUST ABSURD, AND A LITTLE BIT SAD REALLY.

I'm shocked and amazed that Dubya would send a US team to the Greek
Olympics this year!
Does the Religious Right know about this? Where is the outrage! Do
they know the "secret agenda" of these so-called "games?"
The Olympics were an Ancient Greek PAGAN Ceremony, wherein HOMOSEXUAL
men would compete in the NUDE! And, no women were allowed! None!
Worse, all of the participants would have to swear an oath to ZEUS!
Not Jesus!

THE COALITION OF THE STUPID
One of the great economic anomalies of our time is the notion that
the consumer spending is 80% of the economy; yet policy makers are
doing everything in their power to reduce these very same consumers
to poverty.
Go figure!
Greenspan has worked against wage inflation for decades.
Non-union, low wage private sector labor abounds.
Those with jobs are encouraged to take on debt, through credit cards
and home refis.
While defined benefit pensions are all but history now; even as 401ks
are stagnating; or even going down--DESPITE LARGE WORKER
CONTRIBUTIONS!
And, social services have been cut back to the bone, causing many
consumers to literally fall out of the cash economy.
Health care is being cut off, or priced out of the market for most, while Americans "pay triple" for Big Pharma's products.
Ultra-low interest rates have created a real estate bubble that has
boosted rents; while consumer wages have stagnated.
And, the list goes on and on and on.
BUT, HAVE WE FINALLY KILLED THE PROVERBIAL CONSUMER GOOSE THAT LAYS
THE GOLDEN GDP EGG?
Of course! And, we are seeing it everyday now.
SOME KIND OF "RE-DISTRIBUTION" OF WEALTH AND INCOME FROM THE VERY
RICH TO THE POOR AND WORKING CLASSES IS ALL BUT REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN
THE CONSUMER ECONOMY AS WE HAVE KNOW IT SINCE THE 1950's.
AND SOON!
IF THE RICH "STONEWALL" AGAIN, AS THEY SURELY WILL.
AND IF SOME "FAIRNESS" IS NOT ACHIEVED IN THE NEXT FEW YEARS, YOU CAN
BET THAT WALL STREET AND THE ECONOMY WILL EXPERIENCE A TERRIFING
DOWNWARD SPIRAL, NOT UNLIKE THE 1930's. INDEED THAT COULD BE WHAT'S
HAPPENING RIGHT NOW IN THE ECONOMY.
AND REMEMBER, THE LAST TIME THE ECONOMY AND INCOMES WERE THIS FAR OUT
OF WHACK WAS? ......THE 1930's!
Concidence? Not likely.....
The odd thing is that the "rich and powerful" know all of
this,....still, they are saying nothing about it.
And, the general public, ie, The Coalition of the Stupid, that
support Dubya on his popular "wedge issues" have no idea that they
are willingly participating in their own economic downfall!
Today's NYT has a review of Pete Peterson's lastest
DOOMSDAY BOOK wherein all of this is explained in detail. Yet
Again.....
The only pratical "solution" to this problem seems to be to leave the
US, and move to "some country" where the people are still cohesive
enough to think rationally about their state of affairs.
But what about the "language barrier?" Some of us are too old to
start learning another language! Like "Canadian" for example! A
Hobson's Choice to be sure! Ehhh...?

SHORT & LONG TAKES
THE CISCO PYRAMID:
Cisco reminds me of an old pyramid scheme! The one in Ancient Egypt!
Consider: The Egyptians built only three or four "great pyramids,"
and a bunch of little ones. Cisco was the prime builder for the
GREATEST PYRAMID OF OUR TIME: The Internet.
But now that job is done. All that remains is the fill in the minor
details and maintain the systems. Perhaps, with a little added
connectivity in Russia, China and India. But, the big job is done.
What Cisco is now is a great pyramid builder; "working part time!"
Just like JDSU and Corning and the others from the days of the great
DotCom Pyramid Scheme. It's pretty much over for Cisco, at least for
now.
THE GREAT SHIA UPRISING:
What the US is upto in the Shia cities of Iraq could have major
consequences. The killing of Sadr and the bombing of the Shrine of
Ali and the adjacent Mosque will bring to US occupation to a whole
new level.
The US puppet government in Baghdad will lose all credibility, if it
ever had any. And, those elections in January? Forget about it;
that just ain't going to happen. NOT IN JANUARY, NOT EVER.
BY THIS FALL, THE US OCCUPATION WILL REVERT TO BARE-FACED
IMPERIALISM, AND ANY PRETENCE OF "DEMOCRACY" WILL BE FINALLY
DROPPED. Iraq is not 'becoming" a quagmire. IT IS A QUAGMIRE! And,
an expensive one at that.

and a bit of a take off on the Gloom and Doom you'll find here almost
everyday. Finally the Journal isn't all touts, all the time.
A return to reality is long over due at the WSJ.

Has Kerry left the Grand Canyon yet? He missed the opportunity to
point out how the Grand Canyon resembled Dubya's Deficits. Clearly,
Kerry is going to lose this election if he continues to be
an "officer and a gentleman."
Kerry needs to get down and dirty with Dubya. And, soon!
Unless Kerry is willing to call Dubya a Total Moron, who took bad
advise from a bunch of Imperialist NeoCons, and because of his
mistakes is now trapped in an unwinnable war, with trade and budget
deficits out the wazoo, forever. Kerry won't win.
FRANKLY, considering the mess Dubya has made. It's possible that
Kerry doesn't really want to win! He does not strike me as a man
consumed with a desire to be President. But after four more years in
Hell with Dubya and the Neocons. It's very possible that the "next
president" will be Ralph Nader!
Everyone knows that Kerry won't do anything for America's "little
people;" the wage slaves and the poor. But, unlike Clinton, Kerry
can not even convincingly; "feel our pain."

OK. Fed Rally's over. Now, it's time to sell again.
Let's face it, the economies "soft patch" is more like a "sink hole!"
Basically, everything is going to Hell in a Handbasket, and that is
going to continue for quite some time.
The period we're in now might just be that STRUCTURAL "soon or later"
that people used to talk about during The Bubble.
Clearly, higher rates will draw money out of stocks and into,,,,well,
bank accounts! But not bonds!
Oil is still a long term problem. And, if Dubya is re-selected for a
second term, well......WAR IS INEVITABLE. My hunch on oil's next
stop? Some "little voice" keeps telling me: $80! $80! $80!
But, with the Republicans in office for four more years, you'll have nothing to fear: except God and Osama, but not necessarily in that
order.
Dubya's re-election will be a BIG GROANER for the bond market. And,
Mr G will be "defending the dollar" 24.7, and that means much higher
rates. Much, much higher. And remember, it's never too early to
learn to spell: STAGFLATION!
IT'S COMING...... Hint: That's really how this story ends, But
shhhhh.....don't tell anyone yet. OK? It's supposed to be a secret.
And as I've already said, the ten year bond at 7% will come
sooner rather than later. Ah,...Normalcy. And, passbook savings

Paul Krugman in the NYT today says he doesn't understand why the Fed
is raising rates when jobs are punk, and getting "punker" every month.
Well, it's all about the dollar really, and the dollars "special
relationship" to oil and global finance.
It ain't easy being a "reserve currency!" And, nobody said it would
be. Certainly not Keynes! Sometimes you just gotta defend the
system and let the wage slaves sink or swin on their own!
THAT'S WHAT THE FED IS DOING NOW.
Postscript: Absent a dollar collapse, the Fed will sit out the next meeting in homage to the election. But after the election, I expect at least one big 50BP hike later this year; that should sent the Dollar Bears back in the caves, until after the Inaguration of the next President.
But if it's Bush? All Hell breaks lose next year: IN BONDS! WITH THE DOLLAR! AND WITH OIL! Because EVERYONE is going to be "pre-positioning" for a Doomsday Scenario during DUBYA II.

WHY KERRY HAS LOST THE ELECTION!
Is the fix in on the election? I think it is.
By running as Bush-Lite, Kerry has made it almost impossible for he
and Edwards to win.
I mean, why vote for Bush-Lite when you can get the real thing?
It is also becoming clear that the media is setting Kerry up to
be "Gored," just like Al was in 2000.
NOTHING KERRY DOES IS EVER RIGHT. AND, EVERYTHING DUBYA DOES IS
JUST FINE.
We see this again and again. When Edwards was picked as VP, within
hours the pundits were proclaiming "no bounce" for Kerry.
When the convention was held, we were constantly reminded that Kerry
was getting "no bounce" from the nomination. And, the major media
pundits were almost uniformly negative about anything and everything
concerning the convention and the nominiation.
CLEARLY, THE FIX IS IN ON THE ELECTION, JUST LIKE IT WAS IN 2000!
MY HUNCH IS THAT THE "POLLING" WILL SHOW DUBYA 10 POINTS UP ON KERRY
AFTER THE REPUBLICAN CONVENTION.
IN TRUTH, I DON'T THINK THAT KERRY EVEN WANTS TO WIN THIS ELECTION.
Or, if he does he doesn't act like it. His speaking is uniformly
dry and uninspired. And, considering the horrid time Dubya has been
having Kerry just can't seem to close the deal.
But this is really not surpising. Does anyone really believe that
the US Government is going to be handed over to the "little
people?" The working classes? Of course not.
The US did not get into it's current mess, because it was responding
to the needs of the working class!
IT IS OBVIOUS THAT THE PLUTOCRACY ON WALL STREET AND MAIN STREET,
THE RELIGIOUS RIGHT AND THE ISRAELI LOBBY ARE STILL FIRMLY IN
CONTROL OF POWER IN THE US, AND THAT IS NOT GOING TO CHANGE SOON.
AND SURELY NOT IN THIS ELECTION.
On the Sunday talks, Safire was full of conservative blather, while
Ms Dowd looked like the "cat got her tongue" did you notice? It
appears that Ms Dowd has got her instructions, just as Tom Friedman
did when he decided to "take a walk" for the duration of the
election cycle, supposedly, to finish his book.
See the point? The liberal pundits are folding their tents "for
some reason!"
BUSH HAS WON RE-ELECTION; FOR BETTER OR WORSE. Probably worse, much

Frankly, I am not even going to vote in November, and I must say I
did not vote in 2000 either. Voting is an act of foolish
desperation really. These elections are decided much higher up than
at the ballot box. It is childish and naive to think otherwise.

ECONOMIC ROAD RAGE!
Dubya says the economy has "Turned the Corner."
Kerry says the economy has done a "U-Turn."
I think the economy has turned the wrong way down a one way street!
Clearly, things could get much, much worse with the economy. Why?
Well we have used up all of the economic "tricks." Tax Cuts. Low
Rates. Free Trade. Productivity.
NOTHING IS WORKING.
Early on in this board I said we need a NEW KEYNES!
NOTHING SHORT OF A COMPLETE RE-THINK OF WHAT THE ECONOMY IS AND DOES
IS NECESSARY.
SORRY ADAM SMITH FANS! THAT WON'T WORK. THIS IS NOT THE 18TH
CENTURY, NO MATTER HOW BACKWARD DUBYA'S THINKING PROCESS IS.
My hunch is that we are going to need to revive the WELFARE STATE IN
A NEW INCARNATION.
Clearly, we can't "pay people to have babies" like we did in the
1970's. But some other combination of subsidies will be necessary. We are still paying for that mistake with unheard of high illegitimacy rates!
Perhaps, some NATIONAL HEALTH CARE to go with the globally low wages?
Perhaps, a NEW SOCIAL SECURITY to help out those NOW PUNK 401ks that
were basically Reaganesque Nonsense anyway.
Perhaps, we need to CONTROL POPULATION growth, hopefully, not the old
fashion way, through wars!
ONE THING IS CLEAR, THE NOTION THAT WE CAN GO BACK TO "NO-GOVERNMENT"
OR "LOW-GOVERNMENT" IS OUT OF THE QUESTION. The Republican "Starve
the Beast" program isn't working.
EVEN IN THE HEYDAY OF ADAM SMITH THAT WAS NEVER TRIED. Indeed, the
18th Century was always HIGHLY controlled by governments, right down
to the price of a loaf of bread!
Perhaps, we need to reject the FREE TRADE MODEL for PROTECTION OF THE
LOCAL ECONOMY.
INDEED, I HAVE SAID FROM THE START THAT: "ALL ECONOMIES ARE LOCAL."
But alas, no one believes it! Yet......
Perhaps there is more to the modern economy than PRODUCITIVITY.

AND NEW YORK.
FIRST, THE NEW PRESIDENT, PROBABLY KERRY, MUST TELL SHARON AND HIS
LIKUDNICS THAT THEY HAVE TO GET REAL ABOUT THE WEST BANK AND THE
TEMPLE MOUNT. This new "Tough Love for Israel" policy will pay
immediate benefits to the US economy and to our geo-political
situation.
SECOND, THE NEW PRESIDENT MUST CONVENE A GLOBAL CONFERENCE ON THE
ROLE OF ISLAM IN THE WORLD. I KNOW THIS SOUNDS NUTS, BUT THESE ARE
NUTTY TIMES, AND ANY NEW IDEA SHOULD BE WELCOMED. I too agree that
Islam needs a period of "Enlightenment," like we Christians had
between say 1500 and 1900. This will not be easy, but it's far
better to "enlighten" people through discussion, than at the point of
a gun, or with Dubya's stupid "smart bombs!" Which clearly aren't
working, and are probably making things even worse!
Now, we may face great resistance from the "religious fanatics" on
all sides. CHRISTAIN, JEW AND MUSLIM. BUT THAT IS WHERE THE "FORCE"
SHOULD BE APPLIED! ON THOSE WHO ARE DIVIDING THE WORLD INTO
NONSENSICAL "WARING CAMPS."
THIRD, THE NEW PRESIDENT MUST BE AN HONEST BROKER AGAIN TO RESTORE
AMERICAN CREDIBILTY IN THE WORLD. Clearly, there is more to being
a "super-power" than the ability to "bomb at will." We are seeing
this everyday now in Iraq and Afganhistan.
THE US ABSOLUTELY MUST BECOME THE FOCAL POINT AND CENTER FOR
REASONABLE DISCUSSION AND INTELLIGENT THINKING.
CLEARLY, OUR "INTELLIGENCE" UNDER DUBYA HAS SUFFERED IN MORE WAYS
THAN ONE! AND THAT INCLUDES THE SAD FACT THAT DUBYA IS LOOKED AT
GLOBALLY AS "A STUPID MAN." AND NO! I DID GET THAT FROM AN ISLAMIC
WEB SITE, I GOT IT FROM LENO AND LETTERMAN!
IN SHORT, REASON AND INTELLIENCE SIMPLY MUST PREVAIL, TOO MUCH IS
RIDING ON THIS OUTCOME. BUT, CAN THE US BECOME THE BEACON OF REASON
AND FAIRNESS WITH THE US RELIGIOUS RIGHT STILL POUNDING THE DRUMS FOR
HOLY WAR, AND RACISM AND NATIVISM AND HATE?
SOMEHOW THE RELIGIOUS RIGHT IN THE US, ISRAEL AND IN ISLAM ARE GOING
TO HAVE TO BE BROUGHT UNDER CONTROL.
AND THE MEDIA AND POLITICAL ELITES HAVE THE DUTY TO START WORK ON
THIS "NEW AGENDA" ASAP!
Time is short; and too much media damage has already been done,
by "enabling" the WORLD'S RELIGIOUS FANATICS. Too many politicians
like Sharon and Dubya and Sadr and others have been fanning the
flames of hatred for their own politican gain! This must stop now, it's just too dangerous.

LIKUDNICS THAT THEY HAVE TO GET REAL ABOUT THE WEST BANK AND THE
TEMPLE MOUNT. This new "Tough Love for Israel" policy will pay
immediate benefits to the US economy and to our geo-political
situation.
SECOND, THE NEW PRESIDENT MUST CONVENE A GLOBAL CONFERENCE ON THE
ROLE OF ISLAM IN THE WORLD. I KNOW THIS SOUNDS NUTS, BUT THESE ARE
NUTTY TIMES, AND ANY NEW IDEA SHOULD BE WELCOMED. I too agree that
Islam needs a period of "Enlightenment," like we Christians had
between say 1500 and 1900. This will not be easy, but it's far
better to "enlighten" people through discussion, than at the point of
a gun, or with Dubya's stupid "smart bombs!" Which clearly aren't
working, and are probably making things even worse!
Now, we may face great resistance from the "religious fanatics" on
all sides. CHRISTAIN, JEW AND MUSLIM. BUT THAT IS WHERE THE "FORCE"
SHOULD BE APPLIED! ON THOSE WHO ARE DIVIDING THE WORLD INTO
NONSENSICAL "WARING CAMPS."
THIRD, THE NEW PRESIDENT MUST BE AN HONEST BROKER AGAIN TO RESTORE
AMERICAN CREDIBILTY IN THE WORLD. Clearly, there is more to being
a "super-power" than the ability to "bomb at will." We are seeing
this everyday now in Iraq and Afganhistan.
THE US ABSOLUTELY MUST BECOME THE FOCAL POINT AND CENTER FOR
REASONABLE DISCUSSION AND INTELLIGENT THINKING.
CLEARLY, OUR "INTELLIGENCE" UNDER DUBYA HAS SUFFERED IN MORE WAYS
THAN ONE! AND THAT INCLUDES THE SAD FACT THAT DUBYA IS LOOKED AT
GLOBALLY AS "A STUPID MAN." AND NO! I DID GET THAT FROM AN ISLAMIC
WEB SITE, I GOT IT FROM LENO AND LETTERMAN!
IN SHORT, REASON AND INTELLIENCE SIMPLY MUST PREVAIL, TOO MUCH IS
RIDING ON THIS OUTCOME. BUT, CAN THE US BECOME THE BEACON OF REASON
AND FAIRNESS WITH THE US RELIGIOUS RIGHT STILL POUNDING THE DRUMS FOR
HOLY WAR, AND RACISM AND NATIVISM AND HATE?
SOMEHOW THE RELIGIOUS RIGHT IN THE US, ISRAEL AND IN ISLAM ARE GOING
TO HAVE TO BE BROUGHT UNDER CONTROL.
AND THE MEDIA AND POLITICAL ELITES HAVE THE DUTY TO START WORK ON
THIS "NEW AGENDA" ASAP!
Time is short; and too much media damage has already been done,

JOBS! Jobs. jobs?
Call me an wild eyed optimist!
Well, that does seems to be the key word nowadays.
I thought 50,000 to 80,000 jobs was a bit on the gloomy side, but
Wow....!
I've been reading the Wall Street Punditacracy for TOO LONG.
IT COULD BE THAT THIS MONTH'S JOBS REPORT HAS DECIDED THE ELECTION!
ONCE AND FOR ALL...............
Because, as a stunt pilot might say, Dubya is: "Running out of air"
to pull off his manuver, and win a second term.
The entire notion that Dubya even deserves a second term is really
the product of our systematically LOWERED EXPECTATIONS, and the media
lead DUBMING DOWN OF OUR POLITICAL DISCOURSE.
CAN YOU EVEN IMAGINE SOMEONE LIKE DUBYA WINNING THE PRESIDENCY IN THE
1950's OR EVEN IN THE 1960'S?
SAY WHAT YOU LIKE, BUT AT LEAST BACK THEN WE HAD HIGHER STANDARDS.
OR AT LEAST, "HE'S DUMB LIKE ME!" WASN'T A BIG FACTOR TO THE

News that Bruce Springsteen and other music groups will be touring
for "a change in leadership" is interesting. Sprinsteen's op-ed in
the NYT is a MUST READ! This election could pit INTELLIGENCE &
CREATIVITY against WEALTH & GREED; in a titanic contest for the
hearts and minds of the BUBBA VOTE! Yeah, it's come down to that.
Think about it......
ARAB CONCENTRATION CAMPS?
Reports of a "terror plot" found in a New York Mosque could be
ominous. During WWII the Japanese Americans were impounded for the
duration of the war. Could the same thing happen to Muslim
Americans? Well, if Dubya is re-elected and there is some kind of
new attack on America; I would bet that a call for expulsion or
incarceration of Muslims will be made.
TOUGH LOVE FOR ISRAEL:
Jeffery Goldberg's op-ed in the NYT today is another MUST READ! Few
Americans know the realities of Israeli politics. The religious
right in Israel and Osama ARE BOTH ON THE SAME PAGE! They BOTH want
an all out war between Muslims and Jews. And, I hold to my
prediction that an attack on the Dome of the Rock looms! Perhaps
even this year.....,but after the defeat of Dubya, its even more
likely.

THE WHOLE WORLD has been in the grip of the GLOBAL RELIGIOUS RIGHT-
WING RECENTLY......
IN THE US, IN ARABY AND THE EMPIRE OF ISLAM, AND IN ISRAEL!
PUTTING THE GLOBAL RELIGIOUS FANATICS IN CHARGE IS DANGEROUS! VERY

Looting Republicans. By explaining why the economy and the dollar
didn't go "supernova" yesterday, the assumption is that all of the
concern about the "twin deficits" is just Chicken Little Talk! Well,
it isn't. Economies "rot" from the inside out. Things will look
great; until they don't. Then the Looting Republicans will probably
say something STUPID like: Let them eat Cake! Talk about Risky
Business!
GREENSPAN IN OZ:
News that the real economy is slowing even while Mutual Funds are
AWASH IN NEW CASH is GREENSPAN IN OZ! The WSJ reports today that
Mutual Funds have more money than they can invest thanks to The G-
Man's Pro-Rich Pro-Wall Street monetary policies. While wages are
punk, the rich are awash in cash they can not invest!
The Result? See above on Oil Speculation!
BLACK FRIDAY:
The Jobs Report tomorrow could be the most important in years! After
the "spring surpirse" that crashed the bond market and much else,
there is really little hope for a lot of new hiring. In fact it's
possible that those "lawn and garden" jobs in Minnesota could be
disappearing about now! I think 50,000-80,000 new jobs feels about
right.
But, I reserve my right to be OFF BY MILES, just like
the "professional" Wall Street economists!

WAGES: REVERSION TO THE MEAN?
Wages have an odd histroy in economic theory.
In the 18th Century, wages were defined as: that amount of money
needed to keep a worker and his family ALIVE! In other words, a real
living wage!
In the 19th Century, wage labor was usually meager, and often
involved women and children working in "the mills."
FOR MOST OF HUMAN HISTORY WAGE LABOR WAS REALLY A FORM OF SALVERY IN
THE FORM OF INDEBTURED SERVITUTE; AND WAGES WERE STRICTLY FOR THE
LESSER CLASSES, THOSE WITH MENTAL OR CHARACTER IMPAIRMENTS.
For the most part the only way to get ahead was though ENTERPRISE.
This could be a craft or a trade or some kind of merchant activity.
And, of course, FARMERS WERE ALL SMALL BUSINESS PEOPLE, then. Even
if they were only share croppers.
As I have said, farmers were so big pre-1900, that they were a social
class instead of, currently, just an industry group.
Small towns were filled with "the farmer-merchant class."
Small Manufacturing abounded in it's various forms. Most production
was local.
THEN THINGS CHANGED:
With the factory system and mass production the excess population
gravitated to WAGE LABOR.
At first the wages were low. But, then through wars and depressions,
unions sprang up.
FINALLY, THERE WAS THE GOLDEN AGE OF WAGE LABOR: FROM ABOUT 1940 TO
1980.
WAGE LABOR IS STILL WITH US, BUT IT IS UNDER PRESSURE FROM GLOBAL
CHEAP LABOR.
HERE'S THE POINT:
WILL WAGE LABOR SURVIVE IN THE CURRENT GLOBAL ECONOMY, OR WILL IT
REVERT TO THE "MEAN" AND BECOME MERELY A WAY OF SURVIVING FOR THE
LOWER CLASSES; INDEED, AS IT WAS FOR MOST OF HUMAN HISTORY!
When capital employs labor, labor is by definition "SHORT CHANGED."
Any worker must produce more than he is paid, if profit for the
enterprise is to be had.
LESS PAY, MEANS MORE PROFIT.
THUS IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN.
But, what about CURRENT CONDITIONS. Can Middle Class Consumerism
survive in the coming low wage global economies?
Will cheap labor produce a glut of goods, and a downward spiral of
deflation, even while the central banks print money like mad to stop
it. And, alas, eventually cause a galloping commodity inflation in
the process!
These are the real issues we should be discussing.
NOT THE G-MAN'S ABILITY TO LEVITATE THE DOW FOR A FEW MORE YEARS!
CAN WE REVERT TO THE "SMALL BUSINESS" MODEL ECONOMY THAT WORKED IN
THE 19TH CENTURY?
WHAT ABOUT THE "BIG BOX STORES?" THE WALMARTS AND MC
DONALDS OF THE WORLD.
WE SEEM TO HAVE ELIMINATED ANY POSSIBILITY FOR SMALL BUSINESS SUCCESS;
EVEN WHILE WE ARE ELIMINATING THE "HIGH WAGE MODEL" THAT REPLACED THE
19TH CENTURY FARMER-MERCHANT SMALL BUSINESS ECONOMY.
SO, CAN MODERN CONSUMER CAPITALISM SURVIVE, IF WAGES REVERT TO THE
HISORICALLY "MEAN" (ie. STINGY) LEVELS OF THE PRE-CONSUMERIST ECONOMY
PRIOR TO SAY 1900? Recent data seem to say: NO.
This need some SERIOUS discussion. ASAP.

political classes at this time.

LOOK AWAY DIXIELAND! FROM DUBYA!
The South is a pain. And it always has been!
Consider:
Back in the 1770's the American Revolution was conceived in the
teahouses and taverns of Boston. And it was born in the salons of
New York City.
BUT TO PULL OFF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION, IT HAD TO BE RUN BY
SOUTHERNERS!
Think Washington & Jefferson here.
Worse yet, there is an absolute direct intellectual link between
Thomas Jefferson and Jefferson Davis of the Confederacy! I think
Thomas Jefferson would have been a Confederate given the chance.
Of course, this was during the period when the South still had
it's "peculiar institution."
THEN CAME THE ABOLITIONISTS OF NEW ENGLAND! And, Civil War was
inevitable. The real question is not why was there a Civil War;
but why the Union lasted as long as it did!
Remember, there was only 50 years between Thomas Jefferson and
Jefferson Davis & The War between the States. That's like the time
between Eisenhower and Dubya.
THEN CAME RECONSTRUCTION, FOR WHICH THE SOUTH NEVER REALLY FORGAVE
WASHINGTON.
So, Washington let them have JIM CROW! AND LATER THE KLAN!
THEN CAME THE CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT. SLOWLY AT FIRST IN THE 20's and
30's. Then faster after 1948.
FINALLY CAME THE 1960's AND INTEGRATION FOR WHICH THE SOUTH NEVER
FORGAVE WASHINGTON, AGAIN.
OK. ENOUGH HISTORY.
What does the NEW REPUBLICAN PARTY offer the South today?
VERY LITTLE REALLY, OF SUBSTANCE.
IS FREE TRADE ANY EASIER FOR SOUTHERN INDUSTRY, THAN FOR NORTHERN
FACTORIES? NO.
IS LACK OF AFFORDABLE HEALTH CARE LESS OF A BURDEN IN THE SOUTH? NO.
DOES LETTING INTERNATIONAL CAPITAL "RUN THE WORLD" BENEFIT THE SOUTH
OVER THE THE NORTH? NO.
DO TAX CUTS FOR THE RICH, AND THE RESULTING DEFICITS HELP THE SOUTH
IN ANY WAY? NO.
DOES THE SOUTH BENEFIT FROM "CHEAP LABOR?" NO. AT LEAST NOT AGAINST
THE "NEW CHINA" SO BELOVED BY THE REPUBLICAN FREE TRADERS!
SO, WHY DOES THE SOUTH FAVOR THE REPUBLICAN PLUTOCRATS? WHY HAS THE
SOUTH SOLD IT'S SOUL TO THE REPUBLICAN PARTY SO CHEAPLY?
A Flag Burning Amendment! Gay Bashing! Some secret desire to "roll
back" Civil Rights? Some mumbo jumbo about putting "Christian

Worse yet, there is an absolute direct intellectual link between
Thomas Jefferson and Jefferson Davis of the Confederacy! I think
Thomas Jefferson would have been a Confederate given the chance.

THEN CAME THE ABOLITIONISTS OF NEW ENGLAND! And, Civil War was

What does the NEW REPUBLICAN PARTY offer the South today?
VERY LITTLE REALLY, OF SUBSTANCE.
IS FREE TRADE ANY EASIER FOR SOUTHERN INDUSTRY, THAN FOR NORTHERN
FACTORIES? NO.
IS LACK OF AFFORDABLE HEALTH CARE LESS OF A BURDEN IN THE SOUTH? NO.
DOES LETTING INTERNATIONAL CAPITAL "RUN THE WORLD" BENEFIT THE SOUTH
OVER THE THE NORTH? NO.
DO TAX CUTS FOR THE RICH, AND THE RESULTING DEFICITS HELP THE SOUTH
IN ANY WAY? NO.
DOES THE SOUTH BENEFIT FROM "CHEAP LABOR?" NO. AT LEAST NOT AGAINST
THE "NEW CHINA" SO BELOVED BY THE REPUBLICAN FREE TRADERS!
SO, WHY DOES THE SOUTH FAVOR THE REPUBLICAN PLUTOCRATS? WHY HAS THE
SOUTH SOLD IT'S SOUL TO THE REPUBLICAN PARTY SO CHEAPLY?

IT TAKES A VILLAGE TO RE-ELECT DUBYA!
Right on Cue! Talk about Political Theater!
The "Pakistani Connection" has provided terror info that was a "10"
on a 1 to 10 scale--according to Mr. Ridge.
So much for the Kerry Convention Bounce?
Well, we'll see, I suppose.
INSTILLING A LITTLE HYSTERIA BETWEEN THE DEMOCRATIC CONVENTION AND
THE REPUBLICAN ONE IS JUST "GOOD POLITICS."
Consider:
First, you divert attention away from the Kerry-Edwards cross country
campaign at a key "bounce moment."
Second, you get the fearmongering out of the way, a little bit BEFORE
the Republican Convention; which no Real Republican wants to
be "distracted" by bad news, or warnings.
Third, since the Democratic Convention came off with not even a hint
of trouble; THAT PROVES that Osama wants Kerry to win!
ANY QUESTIONS?
Well, there are a few:
FOR ONE, WHAT WILL BE THE REAL COST TO AMERICANS OF RE-ELECTING DUBYA
& CHUMS FOR A SECOND TERM?

By contrast, we are told, that Osama is highly popular in Arab and
Muslim nations, and increasingly in Africa and Asia.
And, alas, lest we forget even in Europe! Damn those Frenchies!
INDEED, THE ONLY PLACE IN THE WORLD WHERE DUBYA IS "POPULAR" IS IN
AMERICA'S VAST AND TEAMING "BUBBALAND!"
Just the facts, folks. Just the facts. Anyway:
Here's my best hunch on what will happen:
Osama knows that he is winning the public relations war, so he will
NOT attack the US before the elections. He simply doesn't want to
give Dubya another sympathy vote globally.
After the election in the US, Osama may or may not attack inside the
US, based on what is happening in other parts of the world.
If Dubya wins, Osama may just keep yanking his chain and doing more
of the same in Araby.
If Kerry wins, Osama has a problem. First, the ENTIRE GLOBAL
COMMUNITY will breath a sight of relief that Dubya and Chums are sent
packing. Because Kerry would be seen as a FREST START for American
Foregin Relations; and that would be VERY BAD for Osama. VERY BAD
INDEED!
Frankly, I think that Osama might try to "re-attack" the US;
IF KERRY WINS JUST TO KEEP EVEN IN THE GLOBAL WAR FOR THE HEARTS AND
MINDS OF MUSLIMS!
THE LAST THING THAT OSAMA WANTS IS A "NEW FACE" OF REASON AND GLOBAL
COOPERATION IN THE WHITE HOUSE! THE LAST THING INDEED! Kerry-
Edwards is really Osama's worst nightmare if you really think about
it.
Interestingly, the BIG NEWS this weekend was the coordinated attacks
on Chirstian Churches in Iraq! THIS COULD BE THE START OF ETHNIC
CLEANSING IN ARAB NATIONS! IN OTHER WORDS, KOSOVO REDUX!
SADDAM WAS AN EVIL DICTATOR, WHO KEPT HIS EXTREMIST MUSLIMS IN CHECK,
OR IN JAIL.
IN TRUTH, IRAQ WAS A FAIRLY QUIET MULTI-ETHNIC SOCIETY UNDER SADDAM.
SADDAM IS NOW GONE. SO, LET THE ETHNIC CLEANSING BEGIN!
That will, in truth, be the NEXT BIG THING for the Islamists in Iraq
and elsewhere.
BUT ALAS, THIS POLICY CHANGE WAS ALMOST TOTALLY FORGOTTEN IN THE
HUBBUB ABOUT THE DUBYA'S "NEW TERROR THREAT."
Dubya has to seriously consider if he may not be hurting his
credibility, if any, by these politically "targeted" terror warnings, usually coming right after a Big Kerry Event. I mean it gets "old" and even rather predictable after a while.
WHAT WILL BE THE COST TO AMERICANS, AND TO THE WORLD, IF WE MUST KEEP
PLAYING GAMES WITH THE REPUBLICAN "FEAR FACTORY" FOR FOUR MORE YEARS?
Postscript: One of the problems with all of these so-called "plots"
is that nothing of substance, nothing "REAL," has even been found.
To be sure, there is "chatter," and some e-mails, also
supposed "papers."
But know one has been "caught" inside of the US with even a "gun."
Not to mention smoking gun.
There have been some arrests of persons in the US, who may be
slightly mentally retarded, or at least rather stupid.
And, there are Muslim "Supporters of Islamist Causes" inside the US,
I would assume. And, they certainly have to mind their "p's"
and "q's" these days.
BUT SO FAR, NOTHING TO SHOW FOR SURE THAT "OSAMA HAS LEFT THE CAVE."
PERHAPS, DUBYA, ET AL, SHOULD CONSIDER ARRESTING A REAL "BAD GUY"
